🌸 All Ladies Are Welcome! 🌸
Join us for our FREE August Deep Dish Ladies Night on Thursday, August 27, at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Christ the Victor Lutheran Church!

We’ll open our evening with prayer and a devotion, share a delicious meal, hear from our guest speaker, Jen Smith from Healing Hands Medical Clinic, and close out the night with a fun craft!

If possible, please sign up to bring a side dish, appetizer, dessert, or drinks to share—but if you’re unable to bring something, just come as you are! We always have plenty, and we would love to have you join us.

Deep Dish is open to ladies of all ages from throughout our community. Come enjoy an uplifting evening of food, faith, fellowship, and fun—and feel free to invite a friend!

Do not become so focused on the blessing you are waiting for that you miss the blessings already surrounding you.

Look back and remember how God has carried you. Look around and notice what He has provided. Look ahead with confidence, knowing that the God who has been faithful will remain faithful.

Gratitude changes our perspective. It turns “I deserve more” into “Thank You, Lord, for all You have given me.”

Complaining magnifies what is missing. Gratitude magnifies the faithfulness of God.

The challenges in your life may be real, but they are not the whole story. God is still present. His promises are still true. His mercy is still new every morning.

Today, let your gratitude become praise—not because life is perfect, but because God is always worthy.

Comparison has a way of making our blessings feel small.

When we constantly look at what someone else has, we can quickly forget all that God has placed in our own lives. Contentment does not mean that everything is perfect. It means trusting that God is good and thanking Him for His faithful care.

A miserable life often begins by focusing on what is missing instead of noticing what God has already provided.

The Israelites had been rescued from slavery, guided through the wilderness, and fed by God each day—yet they still complained. Gratitude helps us remember that God has been faithful, even when life does not look exactly as we hoped.

Take a moment today to name three blessings you might normally overlook. Every good gift is evidence of God’s grace.
