Praying & saying God’s will: I John 2:15-17 “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” Prayer: “Father God, we love & praise You, that we are not to love this world of sin & things that oppose You & Your precepts. Your Word says, if we love this world, then we can’t be true to loving You. For all that is in this world—the lust & sensual craving of the flesh, the lust & longing of the eyes, the boastful pride of life, having confidence in our resources or in the stability of earthly things. All these do not come from You, but are from this world. This world is passing away, with it its lusts, the shameful pursuits, ungodly longings. But whoever will do Your will, carries out Your purposes, will ride that train into eternity, living forever in Your presence, in Jesus name, amen.” Pastor Terry Cole
