We begin the season of Lent on Wednesday Feb. 18 and begin having Lenten worship services and soup suppers each Wednesday evening. Soup is served beginning at 6 p.m. with the worship service at 7 p.m. Lent is a time of remembering Jesus' great sacrifice on the cross for us. This year, during our worship services, we'll be pondering John 3:16 and how God so loved the world that He gave His only Son.

Loving your enemies sounds like a wild idea. But it's what Jesus tells us to do. We do it because, when we were enemies of His, He loved us and died for us. We'll be thinking about this call and invitation to a different kind of love at our 11 a.m. worship service this Sunday.

We've started the season in the church year called Lent. It's a time of focus on Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for us, by which we can receive the forgiveness of our sins. During Lent we have soup suppers each Wednesday at 6 p.m. and worship services at 7 p.m. We're looking at teaching about the cross in the book of Revelation.
On Sunday mornings during this season we are looking at some of the stories from the Gospels of Jesus showing great compassion to hurting people. You're welcome to join us on Sundays at 11 a.m. as we worship our compassionate and merciful Savior.

Stones Cry musical group will be with us this Sunday Sept 22 for our 11:00 a.m. worship service. They share worship and inspirational music as they help encourage a spirit of worship. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy their music and ministry.

We have the streaming of our worship services at Triumph going. Last Sunday's theme was about how God, in His loving, gracious care, can set us free from worry. The services are streamed and available to view on our YouTube channel at TriumphLutheran.

We've started streaming our Sunday morning 11:00 a.m. worship services. The livestream and the recording of the services can be found at https://www.youtube.com/. We're still working on figuring out better quality for some of the sound, especially on some of the music, but we're getting going. You're welcome to watch.

Triumph Lutheran Church is located on the corner of Mountain View and Church Roads in Ferndale, Washington. Our pastor is Craig Johnson. Sunday morning services are at 11:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Triumph is a part of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations.
