Camp is just around the corner! Campers are to register at 1:00 in the Fellowship Hall.
Please bring all medication and drop it off with the camp nurse, Stacy Johnson.
Your children are welcome to bring a fishing pole. Please label these.
When packing, please be mindful of the dress code. No spaghetti straps, spandex shorts, or exposed stomachs.

A special note: the camp committee is adding boating activities to the camp. This is an optional activity. The committee will have an extra waiver available to sign. If you do not want your child to tube or ride a boat, please do not sign the waiver. They will be available on the bulletin board tonight and at registration on Friday.
Additionally, the camp committee has added a disciplinary form for parents to sign. These are also available on the bulletin board and will be at check-in.

Please join me on praying that camp is spiritually challenging and encouraging for our young people!

For four days our building was filled with giggles and squeals and a lot of fun! VBS takes a village and ours is phenomenal! So many people volunteered their time and gifts to glorify God. Creating, teaching, baking, organizing, playing… everyone has a skill that can be used for VBS and our church was just so willing.
Our talented teens created decorations. The ladies working registration kept us organized and made sure everyone was in the right group. Susan Osteen Edwards wrote and taught the best lessons about Moses, Samuel, David, and Jesus. Mr. Kent shared bible stories with his Bible character friends (Mr. Perry, Mr. Ben, and Mr. JD.) Brandy Rudy and Autum Nichole Taylor put together the most fun crafts. Ms. Abby brought the most energy everyday for games. Tanner sang, acted, and wrangled a cow. Radina Creson Gentry kept skits running smooth. So many loving adults led groups around the building, washed hands, filled juice cups, and spread joy. And our teens were kind, patient, responsible, and fun.
Carla Kelley and Ms. Brenda and Mrs. Suzette kept our kids snacked up. Over 200 cookies were served each day and our generous congregation donated every single one! Mr. Charles, Mr. Neal, and Mrs. Vonnie prepared hotdogs for our families to enjoy this afternoon.
So very grateful for a wonderful VBS! Thank you, church family, for loving our kids and visitors. Thank you visitors for sharing your kids with us for a week! We hope you’ll join us again, soon!
