This summer, we’re shining a bright light on the truth of John 8:12, where Jesus says, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Kids will discover how Jesus, the special Son of God, lights the way for us and shows us who He truly is.

Each day will be packed with high-energy games, creative crafts, and delicious snacks—all designed to help kids have fun while growing in their understanding of Jesus. Through engaging Bible lessons and hands-on activities, we’ll explore what it means to follow Him and walk in His light.

It has come to our attention that a number of campaign signs were placed in the front lawn of the church, including a large sign on two metal poles for Keisha Lance Bottoms for governor and many other smaller signs for the same.

We want to be clear: Fayetteville First Baptist Church does not allow political campaign material on our property, nor would we ever grant permission to any candidate to do so.

Unsolicited campaigning on our property is not allowed or acceptable, and we have contacted the local political headquarters to request that they refrain from any such activities in the future.

We have one campaign, and one message: the gospel of Jesus Christ for all people for the forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life with God. That is our message in everything that we do. We invite people from all different backgrounds to join us every Sunday at 8:30 and 11 AM for worship as we focus on that message.

Over the past six months, Jeromy has been such a gift to us in an interim role. He's led us in worship with steadiness, humility, and a wholehearted love for Christ and this church. Many of you have already felt the impact of his leadership, and we're glad to share that he's now fully ours.
