St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church was founded in 1980 to serve the needs of the Catholic Community of north Fayetteville and the surrounding areas. The parish is made up of a vibrant and active community of singles and families that are both military and civilian. Our pastor, Father Arturo Cabra, is a priest from the Diocese of Raleigh. Our parish community is also host to several organizations:
Altar Rosary Society:
The Altar Rosary Society is a group of adult catholic women that minister to the physical and spiritual needs of the parish as deemed appropriate by the pastor. Our Mission is to enrich the spiritual lives of our members and to be responsive to the physical and spiritual needs of the parish. All ladies (18 and older) of the parish are welcome to join us at any time. Knights of Columbus Sons of Mother Seton Council #9847:
The Knights of Columbus is an organization of Catholic men, 18yrs and older, who are committed to making their community a better place while supporting their Church. The Knights are involved in the local community, and support the Church and its causes, all while deepening their faith. They also believe in protecting and enhancing their family life. Columbiettes -The Sons of Mother Seton Auxiliary #9847:
The Sons of Mother Seton Columbiette Auxiliary #9847 is a Catholic women's organization. We are dedicated to our faith, family, friends, parish and community. Seton Seniors:
The Seton Seniors was organized to provide a viable social outlet for active adults, age 55 and older. We are organized as a senior's club under the Cumberland County Parks and Recreation. We participate in activities such as picnics, dances and organized day trips as well as longer trips and cruises. Seton Seniors also support many parish activities. Senior Fitness:
Senior Fitness meets weekly in the parish hall. It is open to anyone 50+ (although no one is turned away). Sessions last 1 hour and focus on balance, strength, and some cardio. Participants supply their own hand weights and are encouraged to wear clothing in which they can move freely. We also play host to various Scouting organizations.
