We were excited to be back for CBS today!

We spent our time all together in 1 group having a snack, singing songs, doing a craft, playing outside and ending with prayer.

Next week we will dive into our first lesson discussing when Jesus was born and the wise men came. We are continuing where we left off with our curriculum from last year.

"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it."

Gin is starting youth group again for the year. Everyone is welcome! 🤍

Now that school is back in session and activities have started rolling again—it seems like a great time to start youth group back up. To make it more consistent, let’s try meeting the last Sunday of the month. If changes need to be made, we can do that on a month to month basis. I understand that schedules are busy and the kids are pulled in MANY different directions all day, every day. My work schedule also may factor into this as I am not able to have youth group when I am on call. For those that have kids that have not typically came to youth group, we meet right after church. I have a breakfast prepared for them. We have a “lesson” and short activity. Our lessons do not come from a lesson book, but instead usually are discussions regarding real life things that our kids deal with in their every day lives. The kids aren’t forced to contribute to the conversation, but our older kids do a great job of adding to the discussion, which I appreciate. If you have questions or would like to provide a breakfast for them—feel free to reach out. If you know of kids that would like to join us, let me know and I can reach out or kids—invite them yourselves! They do not have to attend our church to come to youth group. 🤍
