We are grateful for St. Mark’s Church and the Southeast Region for stepping up to care for their community during an extended water outage that has now lasted three days.

When our communities face difficult circumstances, our churches are more than places of worship. They are places of connection, care, advocacy, and response.

Thank you to everyone who helped purchase, organize, and distribute water, and especially for looking out for our elders and neighbors during this time.

Please continue to keep the St. Mark’s community and all those affected by the water outage in your prayers.

Our Navajoland youth are having an incredible experience at the Province VIII Youth Event in Hawaiʻi!

They've been sharing their stories, learning from youth across the Church, and experiencing Hawaiian culture.

Check out the latest post from our ECN Youth page for photos and highlights from their pilgrimage, and leave them a word of encouragement as they prepare for their final day of camp and service project before heading home!

As another school year begins, we're preparing to provide 100 backpacks filled with school supplies to students across the Episcopal Church in Navajoland.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we're almost at our goal! If you'd like to help, please take a moment to visit and share the original post from our ECN Youth Ministry page. Every donation, no matter the size, helps equip a child for a successful school year.

Thank you to everyone who has already contributed, including our friends at Mar Thoma Church, whose generous donation has helped bring us so close to the finish line.

Together, we can make sure these students begin the school year with the tools they need to learn and thrive.

We're almost there!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of so many people, we're close to having everything we need to fill 100 backpacks with school supplies for students across Navajoland.

A huge thank you to everyone who has purchased items from our Amazon Wish List, and to Mar Thoma Church for their amazing donation of school supplies. Your kindness is making a real difference.

There are still some items we need before we begin distributing backpacks in just two weeks. If you're able to take a look at our Amazon Wish List and purchase one or more of the remaining items, it would be a tremendous blessing.

One of our biggest remaining needs is flash drives. As many schools continue to move toward digital learning, students often need them to save and transport homework, presentations, and other school projects.

Every item, no matter how small, helps a student begin the school year with the supplies and a little snack that they need to succeed.

Our Navajoland youth are having an incredible week in Washington, D.C.!

From visiting the Navajo Nation Washington Office and the Washington National Cathedral to exploring the city and working together in an escape room, they are learning, growing, and representing the Episcopal Church in Navajoland with joy.

Please keep our youth, chaperones Ryan and Raina, and their hosts at St. Mark's, Capitol Hill, in your prayers as they continue their pilgrimage.

Yá'át'ééh.

Earlier this month, Bishop Barry Beisner announced his retirement as Bishop Provisional of the Episcopal Church in Navajoland. As he concludes his ministry among us, he has shared a farewell letter with the people of the diocese.

If Bishop Barry has touched your life or ministry, we invite you to read his letter and leave a message of thanks or a favorite memory in the comments on the website. Since Bishop Barry is not on Facebook, the website is the best place to share your well-wishes with him.

Comments are moderated before they appear due to the volume of spam we receive, so your message may not be visible immediately. Once approved, Bishop Barry and others will be able to read your words.

Thank you, Bishop Barry, for your faithful ministry, your encouragement, and your leadership during these past three years. We pray God's blessings upon you and Ann in this new chapter.
