Please join us for 40 days of devoted prayer for blessing and unity for the Evangelical Methodist Church International General Conference 2026.

PRAYER FOCUS for June 11-20 | PLANNING :

Pray for everyone making final preparations. Pray for the presenters and worship leaders as they plan. Pray now for safe
travel for people coming from around the country and around the world. Pray for the work of our boards and committees. Pray now for the Holy Spirit to prepare an outpouring of His sweet presence in our worship times.

"The Evangelical Methodist Church began in a prayer meeting in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1946. From our Discipline’s historical statement: “On May 9, 1946, in the city of Memphis, Tennessee, a small group of preachers and laymen met together for consultation and prayer, endeavoring to cope with the growing apostasy of the church. After long hours of waiting before God in prayer, they felt definitely led of God to organize the Evangelical Methodist Church.”
80 years later, we need the Lord’s guidance and presence now, just as our founders did then. Let’s spend time seeking God for His perfect will, His guiding presence, and His overarching peace."

Sunday Message Recap:
What God promises, God delivers in His timing.

Abraham and Sarah faced an impossible situation, yet Abraham chose faith over fear and trust over doubt. God’s grace carried them through the waiting — and His faithfulness never failed.

Maybe today you’re in a season of waiting.
Waiting for healing.
Waiting for direction.
Waiting for restoration.
Waiting for God to move.

Don’t lose heart.
The same God who fulfilled His promise to Abraham is still faithful today. We are not justified by our performance, but by faith in Christ alone.

Keep trusting.
Keep waiting faithfully.
Keep walking in grace.

“Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed…” (Romans 4:18)

This Sunday we were reminded of something powerful:

The world may reject the stone…
but God made Him the Cornerstone.

And through Christ, God is taking broken, overlooked, imperfect people—and building something holy. "Be holy, because I am holy." (1 Pet. 1:16)

You are not forgotten.
You are not discarded.
You are not the scrap pile.

In Jesus:
🪨 You are a living stone.
👑 You are chosen.
🙌 You are God’s people.
🕊️ You are free.

So now we live differently:
• Respect everyone
• Love the family of believers
• Fear God
• Build your life on Christ

“Like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house…” — 1 Peter 2:5
