If y'all think some of the things Charlie Kirk "allegedly" said were offensive -- and you call yourselves "Christians [his brothers and sisters in Jesus]" -- I guess y'all missed Matthew 15:21-28 in your Bible studies... and the pointed comments Jesus, the Big Man Himself, made to this Syrophoenician woman who wanted her daughter healed, but here's the passage in question:

Matthew 15:21-28 After going out from there, Jesus went to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
A Canaanite (Syrophoenician) woman from that area came and cried out, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is horribly demon-possessed!”
But he did not answer her a word. Then his disciples came and begged him, “Send her away, because she keeps on crying out after us.”
So he answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
But she came and bowed down before him and said, “Lord, help me!”
“It is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the DOGS,” he said.
“Yes, Lord,” she replied, “but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”
Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, your faith is great! Let what you want be done for you.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.

The epithet used "dogs" refers to someone not a Jew (a Gentile), someone not in line with God's Law. She could've been a complete Karen and responded, "what did He just call me?" Or "I know He didn't just call me the B-word!" Or "That's just racist hate speech -- just wait till the Sanhedrin hear about this!" Had she done that -- just like some of y'all wanna say about Kirk -- the demon would've killed her kid!

Amazing how some of y'all want Jesus to blood-cover your sins but not your Christian brother's... and that's only assuming he ever sinned in his speech in the first place. A lot of what he said was taken out of context to look like sin -- how many of y'all ACTUALLY SINNED, yet still want the blood of Jesus to cover you? Im not saying Kirk was perfect -- I'm saying cut your brother the same slack you wanna be cut for your sins.... the same slack you want your kid or your spouse or your friends or parents to be cut for their sins! Jesus was the propitiation (a big word that needs to be taught in modern American churches today, it means "the fall guy for someone else", "substitutionary sacrifice") for not just your sins, but Charlie Kirk's as well.

To be a Christian is to be Christ-like, an imitator of Christ. To imitate Christ is to first know His worth, to know His identity. The identity of Christ is a trichotomy-- a prophet, a priest, and a king. David was the only other person in the Bible that held all three titles as an identity. To imitate Christ is to be a prophet, a priest, and a king. I'm afraid that most churches only teach the priest part (serve serve serve), but hardly ever the king (having authority over the agents of the enemy) and the prophet (calling sin sin and holding people accountable for their actions-- or lack thereof).
One who is just a priest without being a prophet or a king is a simp who will get nothing in return for his services but used and dumped, ghosted and cheated on when the money dries up
One who is just a king without being a priest or a prophet is a tyrant no one wants to be around and will soon be overthrown
One who is just a prophet but never a priest or a king is just a complainer full of negativity, whose "truth" no one wants to hear because it's more than likely full of holes-- lies in disguise!

Ser un cristiano es ser imitador de Jesús. Imitar a Cristo es conocer su valor, y su identidad. Su identidad es una tricotomia-- profeta, sacerdote, y rey. La única otra persona así en la Biblia era David. Imitar a Cristo es ser un profeta, sacerdote, y rey. Temo que la mayoría de las iglesias solamente enseñan y predican la parte que somos sacerdotes (servir servir servir) y nunca la parte del rey (teniendo autoridad sobre los agentes del enemigo) y la parte del profeta (llamando el pecado "malo" y haciendo que la gente sea responsable por sus acciones.... o la falta de sus acciones
El que es solo un sacerdote sin rey y profeta es un esimpiado (palabra moderna que describe un hombre tan desesperado por el amor y afección hasta sacrificar su propio valor y honra y a veces su propia vida) quien no va a cobrar nada por sus servicios sino que ser utilizado como un juguete, y entonces desechado cuando los recursos y la diversión se acaban
El que es solo un rey sin sacerdote y profeta es un tirante que nadie desea-- un hombre que ha de estar derrocado
El que es solo un profeta sin rey y sacerdote es el que siempre se llena de quejas y negatividad. Nadie quiere escuchar su torcida versión de "la verdad" porque entre la líneas de su "verdad" hay nada más que mentiras

I don't know who needs this, but go ahead and read the book. The movie will never do the book justice. The movie will always water the book down. The scripture is way ahead of the science-- don't wait for the science to catch up with the scripture. When the science catches up with scripture, it's too late. Waiting for the science to catch up with scripture is a double-whammy on our society. For us older generations, it may look like reaching out for whatever alchemy, Harry Potter potion, pyramid scheme, and bitcoin scam we can get our hands on to mask the effects of the crappy choices we made 25+ years ago. For the younger generations, it means that even though they may have learned from our mistakes and poor choices and will evade them, they will see no need for the scripture as the science is there to "overshadow" it, and they will go for the science rather than the scripture, having no idea that the science won't do the scripture justice. It's time to teach scripture to the younger generations before they can get ahold of the science-- this way they'll see that science backs up scripture; otherwise, they'll take the scripture as redundant and miss all the spiritual benefits for missing the most important truth that the scripture has to offer-- the gospel.

Perdemos el partido dos veces al esperar que la ciencia se ponga al día con la escritura. En cuanto a nosotros-- las generaciones milenias (generación de personas que han nacido del año 1980 hasta 1995, también llamada ) y antes, significa tratar de conseguir cualquiera falsa remedia y estafa de criptodinero para enmascarar las consecuencias de nuestras malas decisiones que hicimos hace años. Para las generaciones más jóvenes (como Generación-Z-- los que nacieron después de 1995 hasta 2009) y después, significa que aunque han aprendido de nuestras errores, y ya se los pueden evadir, van a tomar por redundancia la escritura, porque en cuanto a ellos, la ciencia será más relevante que la escritura, sin saber que la ciencia no contiene el aspecto espiritual, y así no será tan buena como la escritura. Necesitamos enseñar la escritura a las generaciones más jóvenes antes de que agarren de la ciencia, para que no pierdan los beneficios espirituales de la escritura por enfocarse en la ciencia superficial, y así perdiendo la verdad más importante que ofrece la escritura-- el evangelio.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but the reason a lot of us talk only about facts, truth, and scripture, is because the last time we talked about our opinions and emotions, we had a lot of hell to pay for it-- it came back to bite us in the butt and ruined relationships and friendships, causing a lot of us to swear that would never happen again! Boys and men should have the right to have a safe place to talk about their emotions and how they feel about things and people without fear of what's being said coming back to bite them in the butt later.

Most of your Bible translations and versions are missing that important prepositional phrase "till afterwards"!

"Why is it that we know so much about love yet do it so little?"

Fear.

Fear of rejection.

Fear that the love will be misconstrued for flirtation.

Fear that the love will be (mis)taken for harassment... especially if you're a man. We as men use the word "safety" in this realm as a euphemism for fear ("I don't wanna show love because it's not 'safe'... what if I try it and someone says 'harassment'? Then my whole life as I know it is down the crapper! I stand to lose everything if it fails and gain very little if it doesn't! If the love is taken for harassment, then I'm pretty much a zombie-- a walking dead man!").

The Bible and media have taught us a lot about love, but our personal experiences (especially if you're a man) have taught us a lot more about fear. Very few people have grown up on love. The lot of us have grown up on survival and fear. If you grew up Baptist and got saved in the 90s (or any time before the 21st century for that matter), it was likely under hellfire and damnation preaching rather than love preaching (the preacher scaring the "hell" out of you instead of loving the "hell" outta you, getting saved not out of God's love but out of self-preservation).

Think about the fact that despite twice as much was spent on Valentines day as Halloween ($12.2 billion for Halloween, $25 billion for Valentines day), right at half of Americans participated in Valentines day (52%) whereas a whopping ¾ of Americans participated in Halloween (73%)!

Hate is not the true opposite of love (the common ground between love and hate is obsession), and faith is not the true opposite of fear (the common ground between faith and fear is the "what if" factor). 1 John 4.18 says "perfect love casts out fear". Fear and Love cannot coexist together. In the Bible, love is mentioned 546 times, whereas fear, 501 times. "Fear not" is mentioned 365 of those 501 times-- one a day!

From my personal experiences, I learned a lot about love from reading and studying the Bible, and lot MORE about fear in Bible college, church, and people claiming to be "Christians"! Church is supposed to be the biggest entity on the planet on love, yet we're the planet's biggest fearmongerer! This has to change! We are not in the 90s anymore... unfortunately lol! We are not in the time where scaring the hell out of people works anymore! As far as this generation is concerned, they are not scared of hell; in fact, to them, it can't be any worse than what we're living in now!

This is why my personal motto for years has been "Walk In Love Not In Fear".

Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
