Mission in three photos:
1 - In May we installed Kevin Olson as the newest member of our Elder team at River City, bringing wisdom and a passion for prayer to our team!
2 - On June 1 we commissioned out Oren & Dani Printy (first to Crystal Springs Camp for the summer) where Oren will serve as a Pastoral Resident at First Baptist Church in Wishek, ND alongside our good friend Pastor Devin Hiller beginning in September.
3 - Just yesterday (June 7) we officially prayed over and sent out Jackson Hankey and his family and a whole team of folks to Grand Forks where they will establish a new church plant—Christ Redeemer Church.

We are so grateful to God for His work in all of these things!
And we proclaim along with the Apostle Paul to the Ephesians:

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
(Ephesians 3:20-21)

We’re continuing our series on the mission to make and multiply Disciples this coming Sunday as Church Planting Resident Jackson Hankey opens God’s Word to challenge us with the motivation for this mission to which we are called. See you at 8:30 and 10:30am.

We are excited to introduce our newest staff member here River City Church… Kami Pederson!
Kami and Steve aren’t really new… in fact they are OGs here at River City and have faithfully served as Deacons with Steve focusing on our facilities and Kami serving as our bookkeeper. And now Kami will be integrating her previous role and building that into a new role for her and for RC as our Director of Operations. She’ll be working on scheduling volunteers, overseeing operational aspects of ministry including the building and budgets, and assisting the other ministry staff to be more efficient and effective as we work together as a team to serve the folks here at River City. She officially starts June 1st but will be integrating into some of the responsibilities, being coached up by Daphne over the next two months. So when you see Kami give her a high five!
