Our brother Tim Good is with the Lord. This Saturday, we will gather to remember his life, his faith in Jesus, and the hope we have in the same Savior Tim loved so dearly.

When someone is hurting, the Bible does not tell us to explain the pain away.

Romans 12:15 says:
“Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.”

Sometimes the most Christlike thing we can do is simply sit with someone in their grief.

Jesus Himself wept with those who were mourning.

One of the most powerful truths in Scripture is this:

God understands suffering.

Why?

Because in Jesus, God entered our world. He experienced betrayal, grief, injustice, and pain.

The cross proves that God is not distant from suffering.
He stepped into it.
