♥️ **October is Pastor Appreciation Month!**

Behind every sermon, every prayer, every hospital visit, every word of encouragement, and every quiet act of service is a heart devoted to God's people.

Our NBCC Board has already expressed its appreciation to Pastors Russ, Rodney, Bob, and Jennifer. Now we'd love to invite our church family to do the same over the next two weeks.

It doesn't have to be something elaborate. A heartfelt card, a few encouraging words, an invitation to dinner, or a small expression of kindness can mean more than you realize.

**Sometimes those who spend so much of their lives encouraging others need a little encouragement themselves.** ♥️

Let's remind these four special people how much they are loved, valued, and appreciated by their New Beginnings family.

**Because HE Lives... We CAN Face Tomorrow!** ❤️

For some, Monday is just the beginning of another busy week. For others, it's a day they've been dreading.

Maybe there's a difficult conversation ahead. A doctor's appointment. Financial worries. Or perhaps you're simply weary from everything life has been asking of you.

And the thought of facing another week feels overwhelming.

But there's a beautiful truth tucked into the words of that familiar hymn:

**"Because He lives, I can face tomorrow."**

Not because tomorrow will be easy.

Not because we know how everything will turn out.

But because the One who conquered death is still with us in the ordinary, uncertain, and sometimes painful moments of life.

Jesus never promised us a life without trouble. He promised us His presence in the midst of it.

So, whatever this Monday brings, remember:

**You may not know what tomorrow holds, but you can trust the One who holds tomorrow.**

Because HE lives, there is still hope. There is still grace. And there is still strength for the road ahead.

*“Because I live, you also will live.” — John 14:19*

**Maybe you've been thinking about coming to church... but something keeps holding you back.** ❤️

Maybe it's been a long time. Maybe life has been difficult. Maybe you're wondering if there's really a place for you.

We want you to know something.

You don't have to have all the answers. You don't have to pretend everything is wonderful. And you certainly don't have to have life all figured out.

Just come.

Come with your questions, your burdens, your hopes, and even your doubts.

Because church isn't a gathering of people who have everything together. It's a gathering of people who need Jesus.

And that includes every one of us.

This morning at New Beginnings, we'll worship together, hear God's Word, and remember His love through Communion.

**Maybe today is the day you stop wondering if you belong and discover that there's a place waiting for you.**

**A Time to Remember. A Time to Reflect. A Time to Draw Near.** ❤️

This Sunday, we invite you to join us for a special time of worship as Pastor Rodney Williams brings God's Word and leads us in Communion.

There's something deeply meaningful about gathering around the Lord's Table. We come not because we have everything figured out, but because of the One who gave everything for us.

The bread reminds us of His body, broken for us. The cup reminds us of His blood, shed for the forgiveness of our sins.

**“Do this in remembrance of Me.” — Luke 22:19**

Come worship with us as we remember His sacrifice, celebrate His grace, and give thanks for the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

**FACES OF NEW BEGINNINGS | JUDI BURGER**

If you’ve met Judi Burger, chances are you’ve been greeted by the beautiful smile you see right here. ❤️

Judi has been part of New Beginnings since our church was still in its infancy in 2021. Through the years, she has remained faithful—even when life brought challenges along the way.

And Judi doesn’t just attend New Beginnings. She serves.

For all the years we’ve been here, Judi has helped prepare meals for Recovery Alive. Week after week, she has quietly given her time and her love through something as simple—and as meaningful—as helping put a meal on the table for others.

Most Sundays, you’ll find Judi at our second service, sitting right up front, soaking in the worship and the message our pastors share. That smile is rarely far away.

There are people who become part of the story of a church simply by faithfully showing up, loving people, serving where they can, and walking alongside us year after year.

Judi is one of those people.

She is dear to our hearts and part of the beautiful thread God has woven into the tapestry of New Beginnings.

**IN PURSUIT OF HIM ❤️**

Sometimes you can see what God has done before anyone says a word.

You can see it in the smiles.
In the laughter.
In the conversations around a table.
In the arms wrapped around a friend.

Our ladies had a wonderful time at the Sisterhood **“In Pursuit of Him”** conference in Reno. They went expecting a special day together, and from the looks on these faces, they came home with full hearts.

There are times when we simply need to step away from our everyday routines and make room for God to refresh us—spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. And there is something especially beautiful about doing that alongside other women.

They worshiped. They listened. They laughed. They shared. They grew closer to God and closer to one another.

**This is what sisterhood looks like.**
Not just gathering in the same room, but walking together in pursuit of the One who changes our hearts and our lives.

We’re so thankful for these women and for the memories, friendships, and moments with God they brought home with them. 💕

There’s something good about gathering around a table. ❤️

This weekend, around 20 of our men came together for our Men’s BBQ—a time for good food, a little friendly competition at the co****le boards, plenty of laughter, and most importantly, fellowship.

Events like this are about more than hamburgers and hotlinks. They give us a chance to slow down, spend time together, strengthen friendships, and get to know the people we worship beside each week just a little better.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who brought side dishes, to the guys who manned the grills, and to everyone who came and helped make the day such a great time together.

We’re grateful for the men of New Beginnings and for every opportunity God gives us to build relationships, encourage one another, and grow stronger together.

**Good food. Good fellowship. Stronger connections.**
