Tonight’s Fairton Community Tent Revival service has been canceled because of the weather and the state of emergency beginning at 5:00 PM. Please do not travel to the tent this evening.

Thank you to everyone who joined us Wednesday and Thursday, and to all who helped make those evenings possible. Please stay safe tonight and keep our neighbors and emergency responders in your prayers. Pastor Lori

What do Methodists actually believe?

This Sunday, we’re beginning a new sermon series exploring some of the beliefs that shape us as United Methodists. We’ll talk about grace, how we understand our faith, what it means to grow in love, and why we believe we are meant to live out our faith together.

Whether you’ve been Methodist your whole life, are new to the church, or are simply curious, you are welcome to join us.

Come worship with us under the tent!

The Fairton Community Tent Revival will be held Wednesday, September 23 through Friday, September 25 at 6:30 p.m. each evening at Victory in Christ Ministry, 93 Fairton-Millville Road in Fairton.

Each night will include worship, testimony, prayer, and a message from a different local pastor. Pastor Mary Woods, Pastor Ken Corson, and Pastor Lori Mitchell will each preach one evening.

Come for one night or join us for all three! Bring a friend and gather with our local churches for three evenings of worship, encouragement, and hope. Everyone is welcome!

📚 Help Us Fill 50 Backpacks with Hope! ❤️

School will be here before we know it, and once again Fairton UMC is partnering with Fairfield School to help provide school supplies for 50 fourth-grade students.

We're collecting:

✏️ 2-inch binders
🎧 Headphones/Earbuds (not Bluetooth)
📓 1-subject spiral notebooks (must fit in binder)
✏️ Pre-sharpened Ticonderoga pencils
🖍️ Unscented Elmer's glue sticks
🤧 Tissues

Every donation, big or small, helps a child begin the school year prepared and confident. If you'd like to help, simply bring your donations to church over the next few weeks.

Thank you for continuing to show God's love in such practical ways. Together, we can help these students start the school year strong! 💙📚🍎

NEW SERMON SERIES STARTS THIS SUNDAY!

Sometimes life can feel heavy, exhausting, and rushed. We spend so much time working, worrying, and just trying to keep up that we forget something important:

God created us for joy too.

Over the next four weeks at Fairton United Methodist Church, we’ll begin a new series called “Season of Play” — a series about delight, wonder, laughter, healing, and rediscovering joy together.

Week 1 (THIS SUNDAY):
“Play & The Gift of God’s Delight”
Psalm 126:1-3 & Zephaniah 3:17

Next Sunday will be FAMILY WORSHIP as we continue the series with:
“Masterclass for a Stuck Church”
A fun, interactive worship experience for all ages!

Upcoming weeks will also explore:
✨ Moving out of survival mode
✨ Relearning curiosity and wonder
✨ How joy itself can become good news to the world

Come as you are. Bring your worries, your laughter, your kids, your questions, and your tired hearts too.

Fairton UMC – 20 Main St. Sundays at 9am

We’d love to journey through this season together.

Friends, we want to take a moment to lift up a very special little boy named Lane.

At just three years old, Lane is facing an incredibly difficult diagnosis. What began as a tumor in his kidneys has now been identified as Mature B-cell Lymphoma and has spread to his spine and brain. He is currently receiving care at Nemours Children’s Hospital and has a long road ahead filled with treatments, hospital stays, and constant care.

And yet—through it all—he continues to show strength, resilience, and that spunky little spirit that keeps his family going.

As a church family, we believe in the power of prayer and the importance of showing up for one another in tangible ways. Lane’s parents are doing everything they can to stay by his side, which also brings financial strain from medical costs, travel, and time away from work.

There is a GoFundMe set up to help support them during this time. If you feel led to give, any amount helps. If you’re not able to give, please consider sharing his story.

Most importantly, we ask you to pray:
- Pray for healing
- Pray for strength for Lane and his family
- Pray for the doctors and caregivers
- Pray for peace in the midst of fear

Let’s surround this family with love in every way we can.
