Pastor: Jonathan Mitchell Rev. Howard DeNoon felt the call to build a Church. He decided to donate land and build a Church on his property.

After several attempts to buy somewhere, he kept having the door shut on his vision. Sunrise Chapel was built in 1976 -1977 with its very first service being held in the basement on Fathers Day June 1977. His friends and some family tried to talk him out of his vision, but he was determined to obey God. The Church became operational in November 1981 and has continued to carry Rev. DeNoon's favorit

e message "the Love of God." DeNoon and Rev. Ralph Carpenter were dedicated pastors that provided leadership and listened to God's direction. The Church continues to grow and both men would be proud of the continued blessing of God on Sunrise Chapel. Current Pastor. Rev John Snyder's description of our Church:

Good morning,

This Sunday is Easter!

We will be offering a sunrise service at 6:30 followed by a breakfast downstairs. We will then have our regular morning service at 10:00. Afterwards, there will be an egg hunt for the kids.

If you would like to fill and bring eggs to be hidden, you can drop them off at the office during either service. Our sign up sheet for breakfast has all the major needs covered, but feel free to bring anything you’d like to share (doughnuts, bagels, pastries, etc.)

I look forward to gathering together with all of you on Resurrection Sunday.

Praying God would draw near to each and every one of you this morning based on the good and perfect promises of Christ Jesus. We gather this morning sorrowful, but may we be always rejoicing. We gather this morning grieving, but may we look to the precious treasure we possess as children of God. In Christ, we have everything. May His grace sustain you.

Sunrise Chapel,

It is with a heavy heart that we let you know that Danny DeNoon has went on to be with his precious savior, Jesus Christ. He passed peacefully in his sleep during the night.

At this time, the family requests privacy. Please no calls, texts, or visits. Needs are currently met.
