Good food, good fellowship, and new friends! We had a great time at our MonValley District Picnic at Bridgeport UMC. As we welcome new churches into the district this year, we enjoyed the chance to meet new friends, reconnect with familiar faces, and celebrate being in ministry together.

Very thankful for our WVAC Disaster Response Team that will lead us in the responses as churches, groups and individuals. I know the generous hearts of our district want to respond as soon as possible.

We are actively monitoring the response needs for areas impacted by flooding. More details will be shared when available. Do not self deploy.

2026 Annual Conference Live-streaming info:

The West Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church invites everyone across the connection to join us virtually for the 2026 Annual Conference session. All worship services and plenary sessions will be streamed live throughout the week, allowing churches, clergy, laity, friends, and family members to participate from wherever they are.

The livestream link will be available on the homepage of WVUMC.org as well as on the dedicated Annual Conference webpage at 2026 Annual Conference Information Page.

Whether you are unable to travel to Buckhannon or simply wish to follow along from home, we encourage you to worship, pray, and engage with us as we gather under the theme “Rooted in Love.”

Three Preview Webinars Planned to Prepare for 2026 Annual Conference

The West Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church will host three online preview webinars to help attendees prepare for the 2026 Annual Conference, taking place June 10–13 at West Virginia Wesleyan College.

These sessions will provide helpful information, offer opportunities for questions, and ensure participants are well-prepared for this year’s gathering centered on the theme Rooted in Love.
