Dear Parishioners, over the last two weeks Fr. Steve has directed Henningers Religious Goods Company to clean, repair, and repaint the outdoor Mary Statue. This cost over $2,000. The big repair was to a crack in her right thumb. On Memorial Day Fr. Steve noticed someone had placed an artificial rose in Mary’s right hand, twisted through the delicate fingers! To avoid further damage, please DO NOT place anything in or on Mary’s hands! Instead please place flowers either real or artificial at the base of the statue or the pillar she stands on! Thanks for your help and understanding!

A Christian Memorial Day Prayer:
Gracious God,
On this Memorial Day, we pray for those who courageously laid down their lives for the cause of freedom. May the examples of their sacrifice inspire in us the selfless love of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Bless the families of our fallen troops, and fill their homes and their lives with Your strength and peace.
In union with people of goodwill of every nation, embolden us to answer the call to work for peace and justice, and thus, seek an end to violence and conflict around the globe.
We ask this through your name.

Today we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit, the moment the Church was born.

The same Spirit that gave the apostles courage, boldness, and faith is given to us, too. We are not meant to keep our faith to ourselves… we are sent to live it, share it, and let it transform the world.

Come, Holy Spirit 🙏

The St. Hilary Parish Foundation continues to celebrate its 50th anniversary and hosted an Evening of Thanks for top supporters on May 14. Those gathered enjoyed an array of festive food and beverages while sharing conversation and camaraderie. Remarks from the Foundation’s Executive Director Diane Sarkis, its longest serving member of the Board of Directors Kitty Dindo, as well as Pastor Fr. Steve Brunovsky highlighted the evening. The Foundation is incredibly grateful for the support of so many over the past 50 years that has given it the ability to underwrite a myriad of projects and programs for the church and school.
