Another Generous Donation for the St. Mark’s Food Pantry

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ America 250 initiative is providing millions of meals to 250 cities across the nation, including Fairfield. In Solano County, the Church has partnered with 17 nonprofits and community programs to help distribute fresh food to those in need.

Today, St. Mark’s Food Pantry was blessed to receive another generous donation through this effort. We are grateful for this partnership and the continued support that helps us serve hundreds of families in our community each week.

Together, we are making a difference—one meal, one family, and one act of kindness at a time.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

This fruit could not be distributed to our food pantry guests, but it won’t go to waste. A nearby neighbor raises chickens and is happy to use it as feed.

By sharing it locally, we avoid the cost of disposal, reduce waste, and help a neighbor at the same time. It’s a simple example of neighbors helping neighbors and working together to make the most of available resources.
