As we scroll through first days of the school year pictures.....a friendly reminder to pray for your child and their teachers. And especially pray for all of their classmates and schoolmates.
Recall that somewhere out there or in these pictures is your child's potential lifelong friend. Or their potential best friend. Or a classmate that may pick on them or bully them. Or a classmate that may emotionally wound them.
Out there in these pictures are those classmates that can lead them down a path of virtue. Those classmates that may accompany them towards Christ. And those that can corrupt them and lead them down a path the exact opposite.
Potentially in these photos is their first date. Their first crush. Their first kiss.
Somewhere out there or in these photos is your child's future husband or wife..........consider praying for those kids too. It is never too early to pray for your child's future spouse......that their upbringing might be good, wholesome, and virtuous so that your loved one is not taken advantage of or hurt in the future.
It is amazing to stop, ponder, and pray about the connected-ness of humanity. And it should all lead us to a closer relationship with God the Father and each other, as we all have the same common Father.
We have a lot of praying to do........and we all have the same Father, Son, and Holy Spirit available to us.
May we share our hearts with the Trinity daily in prayer as we share our hearts/our children daily in our schools.
