The City of Fairbank is currently in the process of transitioning to a new municipal accounting/billing software. As part of this transition, there may be times when City Hall staff are on-site, but City Hall will be temporarily closed to the public.

These temporary closures are necessary to allow City Hall staff to complete training and system implementation without interruption, ensuring they are prepared as possible once the new software is in place.

We understand this may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to make this transition as seamless as
possible.

Thank you for your cooperation.

FAIRBANK WHAT A COMMUNITY!

Just hours after this afternoon’s storm, we are so thankful to see power restored to homes and so much progress already made.

A huge thank you to our Public Works crew, Woods Construction, Fairbank Fire Department, Oran Fire Department, Cedar Falls Utilities, and all the other crews and individuals who jumped in without hesitation to help.

And thank you to our residents for checking on neighbors, lending a hand, and being patient while everyone worked.

In just a few short hours, a tremendous amount was accomplished. Today was a true example of neighbors helping neighbors and communities helping communities. We are incredibly grateful! ❤️
