We had a great final FCA huddle of the school year! 🙌

Our lesson centered on Matthew 5:14–15 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” What a powerful reminder to shine our light in all we do!

We wrapped up our time together with some sand volleyball and a lot of fun.

We are so grateful for Karen Morlan and all she has done to help get FCA started at Dunkerton this year. We’re excited to continue growing this program!

Be on the lookout for some “pop-up Huddles” throughout the summer. We’d love to have you join us!

A BIG thank you to our senior leaders Hailey Kipp, Wyatt Fettkether, Elsie McIntosh, and Lizzie Lafler for all of their time and dedication week after week. God has worked in each of you, and we pray you continue to shine your light and impact others wherever you go next!

We had such a fun and meaningful afternoon at our combined FCA huddle! Kids from Jesup, Denver, and Dunkerton came together for games, laughter, fellowship, and service.

From the horse & jockey game to the head, shoulders, knees, cup game, and a fun Noah’s Ark icebreaker, there was no shortage of smiles! Huddle leader Elsie McIntosh led a lesson on service. The Huddle leaders led their small groups in prayer and discussion on how they could serve others this week.

We also got creative making Bible verse tassel bookmarks and decorating flowers with scripture attached to spread hope.

We took those flowers to a hospital parking lot and placed them on car handles, hoping to brighten someone’s day and share a little love and encouragement. 💛

We also want to say a huge thank you to those in our Dunkerton community who continue to donate and give to make events like this possible. God is so good!

We are so excited to welcome students from Cedar Falls, Jesup, Waterloo, and other surrounding town FCA groups to come enjoy fellowship, games, and participate in a service project together. If you are a 7th-12th grader at Dunkerton, come on out 😀.

We are having a SUPER Huddle this Sunday afternoon 3:00-5:00. Other area Huddle members will join us for fellowship & a service project. We are currently looking for snack and drink donations!

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon celebrating all that God is doing through FCA in Northeast Iowa! ☀️

We feel incredibly blessed to be able to offer these opportunities to our students at Dunkerton and to watch their faith grow.

We’re also so proud to share that our very own huddle leader, Elsie, was honored as one of just four students in the area to receive a scholarship. What an amazing accomplishment!

God is good!

We had a wonderful turnout for our FCA movie night watching David!

What a powerful reminder about faith and finding shalom… true peace in God. 💛 Through David’s story, we’re reminded that God looks at the heart, that we can trust Him in both the highs and the lows, and that even when we feel small or unqualified, God can use us in big ways.

We’re so thankful for the time spent together in fellowship.
We want to give a huge THANK YOU to our generous donors who helped provide popcorn and drinks.

We are so excited for Sunday’s event! Everyone is invited to attend as we celebrate what God has done with our Dunkerton FCA group this year as well as the surrounding communities!

It’s almost here! Our FCA Celebration Event is just five days away:

Sunday, March 29 | 3:00–4:30 PM
Bethany Bible Chapel Church, Cedar Falls

This is a public celebration for our entire community, not our donor event.
(Our Legacy Dinner will take place this fall.)

This gathering is all about celebrating what God is doing across Northeast Iowa through FCA, and we’d love for you, your family, and anyone in the community to be part of it.
