New Life Community Church

New Life Community Church New Life is a Spirit filled, intergenerational church in Fair Oaks, Ca that is equipping healthy balanced believers to be influencers in their community.

New Life had its start as Neighborhood Bible Church over 50 years ago on March 3, 1963, where 42 people attended the first service. After outgrowing several locations, we discovered our current location at 8101 Sunset Avenue in Fair Oaks. Along with this move in the spring of 1999 came an official name change to New Life Community Church. Over the years our methods may have changed, but our messag

e remains the same! Our mission at New Life is simple: "Gather, Grow, Serve, Share...Doing Life Together." It is our hope that believers who attend a Sunday morning service would join a small group in order to grow deeper in their relationship with God and others. Our vision is to equip and empower a community of healthy, balanced believers to influence and impact our surrounding communities, nation and world.

Stay Spiritually Alert 👀✨

Spiritual drifting rarely happens all at once. It usually starts with small compromises, neglected prayer, a closed Bible, or a distracted heart.

God's primary desire isn't simply what we do for Him—it's that we hear His voice and walk in obedience.

Here are a few practical ways to stay spiritually alert:

đź“– Study God's Word
Go beyond reading. Meditate on it, examine it, and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through it.

🙏 Pray Beyond Requests
Don't just bring God a list. Pursue His presence and cultivate intimacy with Him.

🤝 Stay Connected to Other Believers
We weren't created to walk alone. Encouragement, accountability, and community help keep us grounded.

📣 Share Your Faith
Evangelism keeps our hearts aligned with God's mission and reminds us of what matters most.

"Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober." — 1 Thessalonians 5:6

Stay alert. Stay watchful. Stay close to Jesus.

"The tragedy of Saul was not that he openly rejected God. He slowly drifted away."

Spiritual drift rarely happens all at once. It's often the result of small compromises, delayed obedience, and gradually losing sensitivity to God's voice.

Saul's story reminds us that staying close to God requires daily surrender, humility, and obedience. The danger isn't always outright rebellion—sometimes it's simply drifting.

Take a moment today to examine your heart. Are you moving closer to God or slowly drifting away?

📖 "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." — James 4:8

"God's primary desire is not what we do for Him. His primary desire is that we obey His voice."

So many people are busy doing things for God while rarely stopping to ask, "Lord, what do You want me to do?"

God doesn't need our additions to His plan. He has already provided the blueprint. Our responsibility is not to improve His design but to trust Him enough to obey.

📖 "To obey is better than sacrifice..." — 1 Samuel 15:22

🎓 Young Believer’s Survival Guide

Being young doesn’t mean you have less purpose, less influence, or less value in God’s Kingdom.

The world may tell you to follow fear, isolation, and uncertainty—but God calls you to something greater.

âś… Be an example in your words, actions, love, faith, and purity.
âś… Refuse to let fear dictate your future.
âś… Stay connected to godly community.
âś… Trust God's plan, even when you can't see the full picture.
âś… Remember that Jesus is always with you.

Your generation isn't called to survive culture—it's called to impact it.

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers…” — 1 Timothy 4:12
