Regeneration Church

Regeneration Church A community committed to loving God, serving others, and seeking the Kingdom that Christ ushered in through his life, death, resurrection, and ascension.

Striving to embody and reflect Christ’s love in all things and in practice: an open table where all who are ‘weary and being burdened... (Mt.11:25)’ are invited to come; to recline, eat, drink, receive and serve, without distinction.

This past week we celebrated the feast of the Holy Trinity by using the ancient sign of the cross as a contemplative prayer.

Here’s a brief daily practice to use during the week…

Each morning, pause and make the Sign of the Cross slowly.

And as you touch your forehead and pray: Creator, bless my thoughts.

Touch your heart and pray: Christ, heal my heart.

Touch your left shoulder and pray: Holy One, redeem my past.

Touch your right shoulder and pray: Spirit, guide my future.

Then take one deep breath and remember: you are not alone. You are held in the love of Creator, Christ, and Spirit 🕊️

At Regen we are seeking to follow Christ in a way that is compassionate, thoughtful, inclusive, and rooted in love. For us, faith is not about having all the answers. It is about learning to live in the way of Christ together.

Regen is a church for people rebuilding and reclaiming faith.

We are a community for people and families who are drawn to Christ but tired of religious pressure, shame, certainty, or pretending. Here, questions are welcome, kids are safe to wonder, and faith is practiced as a spacious, compassionate way of life.

Hello friends, tomorrow our liturgical calendar gives us the feast of Holy Trinity Sunday.

God beyond, among, and within us.

We’ll reflect on the divine life of love, practice the ancient Sign of the Cross through contemplative prayer, and remember together that at the heart of reality is not isolation, but communion.

Join us tomorrow at Regen. 10am. There’s room for you.

At Regen, you don’t have to check your questions at the door. We believe faith can be honest, thoughtful, spacious, and still deeply rooted in Christ.

Our community here at Regen is shaped by five commitments…

1. Honest Faith
2. A Generous Vision of Christ
3. A Safe Place for Families
4. Practice, Not Performance
5. Community for the Weary

As we begin this season that the liturgical calendar calls ‘Ordinary Time’ keep an eye out in the days to follow on how each of these commitments impacts our church 🕊️

This past weekend we talked about making ourselves available to one another and to the Spirit in our lives. Here’s a brief practice that we can use this week…

Each morning this week, pray one simple prayer:

“Spirit, make me available.”

Then pause for a moment and ask yourself…

-Who might need me to notice them today?

-Where am I being invited to move in love towards others, especially those I may disagree with today?

-What small act of love or peace is mine to practice today?

No need to fix the whole world. Just let the Spirit make your actual life available to the actual love of Christ, one ordinary moment at a time. 🕊️
