My pilgrimage on Monday traced to move of the remains of Cuthbert from Holy Island to Durham. It is also a thriving university city.

Durham Cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Durham, England, recognized as the finest example of Norman architecture in the country. Built beginning in 1093 to house the relics of St. Cuthbert and St. Bede.

Day 4 of my pilgrimage as we depart Holy Island today for Durham tracing the steps of the remains of St. Cuthbert.

Lindisfarne Priory, located on Northumberland's tidal Holy Island, is a renowned English Heritage site founded in 635 AD by St Aidan. It was the heart of Anglo-Saxon Christianity, home to St Cuthbert, and the site of the first Viking raid in 793 AD.
