Welcome Bishop!!! 💙🙏🏽🙏🏽

Let us welcome our new bishop effective November 1.

Conference:

As we’ve already shared, there is a new slate of bishops and we are excited about so many things.

I am looking forward to working with our new bishop, Bishop Loyd. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him in the West Plains Conference and look forward to working with him.

As a side note, a special congratulations to newly elected, Bishop Lee. Although he was a member of the Korean Conference, he was pastoring within the physical boundaries of the Western Pacific Conference.

Even though Bishop Lee will not be our assigned bishop, he is still one of the bishops of our denomination and for that we are blessed. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Bishop Lee a little and one of our churches has had joint ministry with his church in Hawaii. The very first time I met him I thought to myself, “this man should be a bishop.“

I feel very good about our entire slate of bishops and looking forward to working directly with Bishop Loyd.

On a special note, I give thanks to God for our previous two bishops, Bishop Webb and Bishop Moore, who will both be serving other annual conferences for this next term.

May God continue to bless all of their ministries as well as the entire Global Methodist Church.

All glory to God for his never ending blessings! We were so blessed to be invited to worship with our Messiah Lutheran Ohana and celebrate Aunty Gerry’s surprise birthday party! Thank you for showing us that we can indeed live a long life with the word of God! Our thoughts and prayers go out to Aunty Gerry’s husband - Pastor Uma’s message today, “He is not finished with you!” We love you guys our MLC Ohana, may our Heavenly Father continue to shine His light upon each and every one of us! 💙🙏🏽

GOD IS GREAT! Today, we were truly blessed to welcome our special visitors from Euless, Texas — Faifekau Salome Tupou Mafi and her husband who are members of Euless First Tongan GMC and part of Mid Texas Conference GMC. It was a joy and an honor to worship alongside them and share in the fellowship of Christ. We are so grateful for the opportunity to come together as one body, despite the miles that separate us.

We are also incredibly thankful for one of our brothers Makafalani Tu’akoi, who faithfully took the stand today and boldly proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you for allowing God to use you and for sharing His Word with our church family.
