We're getting to the end of I John, and we're getting some "final words" from John. We're reminded that salvation comes only through God through His son, Jesus. AND God is greater than the enemy. That is GREAT news!

Throughout the book of I John, Pastor David has pointed out how many times John talks about love - loving God and each other. In today's sermon from I John 5:1-12, we learned that if we have a relationship with the Son of God are overcomers. And as overcomers, we have a testimony!

The book of I John talks a lot about love, and in today's sermon from chapter 5:1-3, Pastor David emphasized John's message. True love for God shows in obedience to God and love for others. Born of God, we can overcome anything!

This morning, we were blessed (and challenged) by Pastor Mark McCourt from Texas on the topic, "Faith for the Impossible." Many of us have learned to settle, instead of reaching for more as children of God. We serve an incredible God, yet our prayers are weak. Let's start praying like we are truly God's children!
