Make every effort to present yourself to God as one who is approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, correctly handling the word of truth.—2 Timothy 2:14-16

Wherever God's path leads in 2026, it is never barren. It is marked by provision, purpose, and abundance that comes from walking with Him...

CROWN THE YEAR: As a new year opens before us, we pause long enough to look back with gratitude and ahead with expectation. The turning of the calendar reminds us that time is not empty or accidental—it is held, ordered, and marked by the goodness of God. Every season carries its own lessons, but none of them are wasted in His hands.

Scripture tells us, “You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with richness” (Psalm 65:11). That promise reframes how we enter the year ahead—not with fear of what might be lost, but with confidence in what God is already preparing. Wherever His path leads, it is never barren. It is marked by provision, purpose, and abundance that comes from walking with Him. Catch the rest on the blog. Link in bio.

Wishing you all the wonder and blessing of this season of miracles. "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."-- Isaiah 9:6

What God gave you, He intended for you to pass on to others...

PASS IT ON: God didn’t hold forgiveness back from you—not when you were wrong, not when you were stubborn, not when you were at your lowest. He poured out mercy because of His great love (Ephesians 2:4–5), and He calls you to let that same love flow through you. Forgiveness isn’t always easy, but it’s the path He set for every believer: to release offense, to show compassion, to extend grace even when it isn’t deserved (Colossians 3:13). Instead of mirroring the world’s patterns of anger, resentment, or retaliation, choose the higher way—repay injury with blessing (1 Peter 3:9), respond to hurt with kindness, and forgive as freely as Christ forgave you (Ephesians 4:31–32). What God gave you, He intended for you to pass on. Catch the rest on the blog. Link in bio.

Take a deep breath, release the weight you’ve been carrying, and let God give you the rest your soul has been longing for…

FIND REST: We all understand the importance of rest for our bodies, but true rest for the soul comes only from God. When your heart is weary, your mind overwhelmed, or your spirit burdened, Jesus offers a peace that restores from the inside out (Matthew 11:28–30). His presence goes with you wherever you are, bringing calm and assurance in the midst of life’s pressures (Exodus 33:14). Even in the quiet moments, you can lie down without fear, and your sleep can be sweet, because He holds you securely in His care (Proverbs 3:24). Take a deep breath, release the weight you’ve been carrying, and let Him give you the rest your soul has been longing for.

Lift your eyes and give thanks—not only for the victories ahead, but for His righteous, sustaining power that has brought you this far…

THANKFUL HEART: A grateful heart sees more than circumstances—it sees the God who carried you through them. Every challenge you’ve faced has strengthened your faith and reminded you that true victory comes through Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). Even in difficult seasons, you can give thanks because His will is at work in every detail of your life (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Your faith is what overcomes the world, and God has been building that faith with every step you’ve taken (1 John 5:4). So lift your eyes and give thanks—not only for the victories ahead, but for His righteous, sustaining power that has brought you this far (Psalm 7:17).

God specializes in opening doors no one else can (Revelation 3:8)...

UNEXPECTED: Don’t be thrown off when God answers in a way you didn’t expect. He specializes in opening doors no one else can touch (Revelation 3:8). His ways are higher than your ways, and His thoughts go beyond your reasoning (Isaiah 55:9). So when the answer looks unfamiliar or the path feels untraveled, don’t lean on your own understanding—trust in the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5). Stay open. What looks unusual to you may be perfectly aligned with His plan. God is leading you into something you didn’t even know to ask for. Be ready for the unexpected. https://expjoy.org/blog

STABILITY IN UNSTABLE TIMES: When the world feels shaky and headlines stir anxiety, don’t let fear dictate your future. Your days are not at the mercy of chaos—they are held in the hand of God. He has promised, “I will never desert you or leave you without support… I will not forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). So we can confidently declare, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6). No evil will overtake you, and no plague will come near your dwelling, for He commands His angels to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:10–11). Let the ground shake if it must—your foundation is unshakable. God is with you, and He’s not letting go. https://expjoy.org/blog

PROMOTION: Promotion isn’t manufactured by human hands. “He brings one down, He exalts another” (Psalm 75:6–7). I hear the Spirit saying: stay the course.“Don’t grow weary in doing good, for at the appointed time you will reap—if you don’t give up” (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is weighing faithfulness in this season, and to the faithful He declares,“Well done…you have been faithful with a few; now I will put you over many” (Matthew 25:21). As you let love flourish and increase (1 Thessalonians 3:12), the voices, systems, and personalities that once held sway over you will lose their grip. God is repositioning His people. Expect divine rearrangement. When He lifts you, no one can limit you. An upward shift is already set in motion—prepare to step into it. https://expjoy.org/blog

BEYOND SIGHT: Walking by faith means trusting what you can’t yet see. Paul reminds us that “we live by believing and not by seeing” (2 Corinthians 5:7), and that kind of faith calls us to step forward even when the way isn’t clear. Jesus said to Thomas, “Blessed are those who believe without seeing” (John 20:29), pointing us toward a deeper trust that goes beyond proof. And as Hebrews 11:1 tells us, faith itself is “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” When you walk by faith, you’re not denying reality—you’re anchoring your hope in the unseen reality of God’s promise, confident that what He has spoken will come to pass. https://expjoy.org/blog

HOLD YOUR PEACE: Life will put you in situations designed to frustrate, provoke, or drain you. In those moments, your words and reactions can either protect your integrity or tarnish your testimony. Choosing to hold your peace is not weakness—it’s wisdom.

Listen for God’s guidance. Let His Spirit direct your response instead of reacting in haste. Proverbs 11:12 reminds us that “if you are smart, you will hold your peace,” and Job 33:32-33 encourages us to speak only when God calls us to, otherwise, listen and be taught wisdom. Even when the battle rages around you, Exodus 14:14 assures us: “The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent and remain calm.”

Peace is a choice—and in choosing it, you honor God, protect your heart, and stand strong. https://expjoy.org/blog

NOT BY BREAD ALONE: Our bodies can’t survive without food, and our spirits can’t thrive without God’s Word. When tempted in the wilderness, Jesus declared, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). The Word is more than information—it is our daily sustenance.
Hebrews reminds us that “the word of God is alive and active… it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). Every time you open Scripture, it feeds, shapes, and strengthens your inner life.
And Jesus Himself said, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty” (John 6:35). Natural bread fills the stomach, but only the Living Word satisfies the soul.
Let His Word be your portion today.
Take it in, chew on it, and allow it to sustain you more deeply than anything else. https://expjoy.org/blog
