Dear First Christian Church Family,

We are excited to share that Cameron Gladish has been affirmed as the next Lead Minister of First Christian Church!

We look forward to officially welcoming Cameron, Mollie, Kathryn, Eliza, and Gwen into the FCC family and are grateful for the way God has guided this process from beginning to end. Details regarding Cameron's start date and transition timeline will be communicated later this week as plans are finalized.

As we move forward, we ask that you continue to pray for the Gladish family as they prepare for this significant transition over the coming weeks. Please also pray for our church family as we enter a new season of ministry together.

We are especially grateful for Jerry Clark and his faithful leadership over the past 48 years. Jerry's love for this church, steady guidance, and commitment throughout this search and affirmation process have been invaluable. His influence has helped shape who we are today, and he will continue to play an important role as Cameron begins his ministry among us.

God has been faithful, and we are thankful for His clear guidance and the unmistakable evidence of His hand throughout this journey. We look forward with anticipation to all that He has in store for First Christian Church.

Tonight, we gather as one church family.

As we enter this important season in the life of FCC, our prayer is not simply that we would make a decision, but that we would listen well to the voice of God, walk in unity, and trust His leading for the future of our church.

We invite you to join us this evening for Looking Forward Together as we welcome Cameron Gladish, Lead Minister Candidate, and family. This will be a time to connect, share a meal, build relationships, and seek God’s direction together.

As you prepare to come, would you take a moment to pray for Cameron, Mollie, Kathryn, Eliza, and Gwen? Pray also for our elders, staff, and church family as we continue pursuing God’s mission together.

That is why we are creating intentional opportunities to connect with Cameron Gladish, Lead Minister Candidate, and family beyond a Sunday morning sermon. On Friday, June 5, we will gather for an evening of fellowship, conversation, and community as we begin building relationships and seeking God’s direction together.

Join us on Friday, June 5 at 6:00pm for a special evening of fellowship, conversation, and connection as we welcome Cameron Gladish, Lead Minister Candidate, and family to FCC.

As our church family prepares for this important season of transition, we invite you to gather with us for a catered meal and an opportunity to get to know Cameron, Mollie, Kathryn, Eliza, and Gwen in a casual and relational setting before Cameron preaches and our congregation participates in the affirmation process on Sunday morning.

This evening is designed to help us connect, listen, pray, and begin looking toward the future together as one church family.

Today is the National Day of Prayer, and all across our nation believers are joining together to seek the heart of God.

Here at First Christian Church, our church family is spending 24 hours covering our nation, communities, leaders, churches, families, and future in prayer — asking for God’s wisdom, guidance, peace, and His hand to move in powerful ways.

We are grateful for every person who is joining us in prayer today, not only from FCC, but from churches and communities across the country. There is something powerful about God’s people uniting with one voice and one purpose.

Tonight at 6:00pm, we will gather together for a special Worship & Prayer Service as we lift our voices in thanksgiving, surrender, and faith — asking for God’s divine intervention and ultimately His will to be done.

“Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray…” — 2 Chronicles 7:14

Let’s continue to pray boldly, faithfully, and expectantly today. 🙏
