The two men on the road to Emmaus had been taught all of their lives about the coming Messiah. Yet they did not recognize him as he walked beside them. The text said that “they were kept from recognizing” Jesus. What things keep us from recognizing Jesus as he walks beside us? Many can “talk about” Jesus but have never truly gotten to know him. It is hard to believe, 20 years ago (2006), I began the journey of becoming senior pastor of then, "Covenant Baptist Church," in Wickliffe, Ohio. In 2019, we changed our name to "Restoration Ministries of Greater Cleveland, Inc. and planted in Euclid, Ohio. We invite you to come and help us CELEBRATE 20 years together as a church family (if you were a part of this ministry during any of those years, we'd love to have you come and celebrate with us!), Sunday, August 16th, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., 21000 Lakeshore Boulevard, Euclid, Ohio 44123 (on the campus of the Church of the Epiphany).
