COME HUNGRY TONIGHT! 🤩🍽️

Our ECC Women’s Bible Study ladies are sponsoring tonight’s meal, and they understood the assignment! 🙌🏻

We’re talking ham, pork chops, chicken casserole, meatloaf, BBQ chicken, chicken strips, Roast, Rice Krispie chicken… PLUS all the casseroles, sides, bread, desserts and drinks to go with it. 😍

Tonight’s meal is by donation only 🤲🏻
Every donation received tonight will go toward helping provide Bible study books for our wonderful ladies participating in our Women’s Bible Study. 📖

So — when you grab a plate, know that you’re also helping make sure another woman can grab a book and join us around His Word! ✨

Tonight we’re talking about something that touches all of us — the movies we watch, the shows we binge, the music we listen to, and the culture we live in every single day. How much does it influence us without us even realizing it? Come ready to talk about it.

Church family — Wednesday night Bible study begins at 7 PM as well! We would love to encourage you to come spend the evening with us, slow down in the middle of a busy week, and dig into His Word together. 📖

Our hearts are incredibly heavy for our neighbors at Milligan University today. There simply aren’t adequate words for a tragedy like this.

We are praying for the Milligan Cycling Team, for all involved in today’s tragedy, for the families facing unimaginable loss, for those who were injured and are receiving care, and for every teammate, coach, student, friend, and loved one affected.

We are also praying for the first responders, law enforcement, medical teams, and everyone who stepped into an incredibly difficult scene this morning.

Milligan is part of our community — and when one part of our community hurts, we hurt with them. 🤲🏻

From your family at Embreeville Church of Christ, please know that you are covered in prayer and surrounded by a community that loves you.

A SIMPLE NEW WAY TO CONNECT WITH ECC 🤲🏻

As our world changes, we want to continue finding simple ways to make things at Embreeville Church of Christ more convenient and accessible for our church family — while keeping the heart of what we do, and why, exactly the same.

We’re happy to share an exciting update that online giving is now available at ECC!

For many, putting something in the offering box on Sunday will always be the preferred way, and we absolutely love that. But we also know life looks different today. We pay bills from our phones, rarely carry cash or checks, travel , work varying schedules, and sometimes simply realize after we’ve already left church that we meant to take care of something — and later found that something in the dryer.

This is simply another option — one designed to hopefully make things a little easier.

You can access our secure online giving page anytime by scanning the QR code or using the direct link below.

Once there, you’ll find several convenient options. You can choose a one-time contribution or set up recurring monthly giving. You can select our general offering, Youth & Children’s Ministry, missions, or other specific funds and needs as they are added. There is also an option to make a contribution in memory of someone special. 🕊️

We are very thankful to Zeffy for allowing churches and nonprofit organizations like ours to use their platform without required transaction or platform fees.

You will notice that Zeffy gives you the option to leave them a voluntary contribution at checkout. That contribution is completely optional.** You can change the suggested amount — including changing it to $0, rounding the change, or a donation of your choice — before completing the transaction. It does not affect your contribution to ECC in any way and we do not see this specific info.

Ultimately, this isn't about changing the way we've always done things. It's about adding another way to make participating in the work of the church simple, accessible, and convenient in the world we live in today.

🥞 **WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT EMBREEVILLE!** 📽️

🍳 6:00 PM — BREAKFAST FOR DINNER!
ECC Youth is hosting this week’s meal, and all donations go directly toward our Youth Ministry.

Your generosity and support help us fund everything from weekly snacks and “everyday” activities to TCTC trips with tickets + lodging, and opportunities for our students to grow together and grow in Christ! When you support ECC Youth, you are investing not only in the future of the Church, but the here and now disciples! ❤️

A reminder text will be sent to our chat — but after dinner, we’ll be filming scenes for the Homecoming skit! It’s set in the 1950s, so girls… if you could grab you a dress, and guys… find a button-down, polo, or solid shirt! The footage WILL be black & white, so colors don’t matter — and again, NO ONE has to speak on camera! ⭐️

Come eat. Come fellowship. Come support our youth — knowing every plate and every donation helps us continue pouring into the next generation.

🎬🍿 PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT + KIDS’ NIGHT IN! 🍕🚗

WHAT. A. FUN. NIGHT! 🙌🏻

Last night, 20 of our ECC kids and students came together for Parents’ Night Out, Kids’ Night In — and our hearts are abundantly FULL!

We enjoyed plenty of yummy pizza 🍕, helped our littlest attendees turn ordinary boxes into some pretty AWESOME custom drive-in cars 🚗, popped up some delicious fresh-made popcorn (thanks to Mary Scott!) 🍿, and finally settled into our “cars” to watch the kids’ winning movie choice — Toy Story! 🎬

But one of the sweetest parts of the night for me had nothing to do with the movie choice, the pizza options, or even those adorable little cars…

Six of our youth showed up to serve. 🥹

I don’t have to tell you that on a Friday night, there were a hundred other places they could have been. Plenty of other things they could have been doing. One just got his license AND a set of wheels! But they chose to be here.

They chose to love.
They chose to help.
They chose to laugh & play with littles.
They chose to serve.
They chose to pour into and mentor their younger brothers and sisters in Christ. ❤️

And THAT is something worth celebrating. 🥳

Because church isn’t just something our kids attend. It’s a family they learn to belong to, serve in, and someday help lead. And there is something incredibly special about watching our older kids begin to understand that the little ones are watching them — and then seeing them step up and give those little eyes something beautiful to watch. 🥹

To our youth who served: we see you, we appreciate you, and we are SO proud of you. Never underestimate the impact you can have simply by showing up and loving others well. 🤲🏻

And to ALL of our ECC kids — from our tiniest drive-in moviegoers to our teenagers serving alongside us — I am so incredibly proud of you, and I am HONORED to serve with each of you. ❤️

There really is something special happening among our kids at ECC, and I’m just grateful God lets us have a front-row seat to watch it grow.

🤠⭐ HOWDY, PARTNERS! ⭐🤠

Round up your little cowboys, cowgirls, space rangers & favorite aliens because the PARENTS NIGHT OUT >> Kids Drive-In is TOMORROW! 🚗🎬

The votes are officially in, and we’re going TO INFINITY… and beyond! 🚀✨ The original Toy Story will be playing on our BIG screen & ya don’t wanna miss it! 🙌🏻

But the movie is only the beginning! We’ve got custom drive-in cars 🚘 under the stars ✨, pizza 🍕& popcorn 🍿, surround sound 🔊, lots of laughs 😄, and SO MUCH FUN waiting for our kiddos!

And while Woody may remind us that you’ve always got a friend in him… we want every child who walks through our doors to leave knowing something even better:
