📖 SUNDAY SERMON | 10:15 AM
The First Will Be Last
Matthew 20:16 | Philippians 2:3–7

The world teaches us to put ourselves first, strive for recognition, and measure success by how far ahead we get. But Jesus turns that thinking upside down — in God's Kingdom, greatness isn't about being first; it's about serving others with humility and love.

Jesus showed us that true greatness comes from putting others before ourselves. He humbled Himself, took the position of a servant, and demonstrated that leadership isn't about being above others, but being willing to serve them.

❤️ Put others first. Walk in humility. Follow Christ's example.

Join us this Sunday at 10:15 AM as we discover what it truly means to be great in God's eyes and why, in His Kingdom, the first will be last and the last will be first.

🙏 FRIDAY PRAYER & PRAISE CHECK-IN! ❤️

As we wrap up another week, let’s take a moment to pause, reflect, and remember that God is with us through every high and low. Some weeks bring joyful celebrations, while others leave us searching for strength. Wherever this week finds you, there is always room for prayer, gratitude, and hope.

💬 LET’S CHECK IN!

🙏 What’s weighing on your heart that we can pray about?

🙌 What made you smile this week or reminded you of God’s goodness?

❤️ Who could use a little extra love, encouragement, or prayer today?

👇 SHARE IN THE COMMENTS!

You don’t have to have the perfect words or carry every burden alone. This is a place to share your heart, celebrate answered prayers, and lift one another up. If you’re not comfortable sharing details, simply leave a ❤️ or 🙏. We’ll be praying alongside you!

📖 “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)

Whatever your week has looked like, remember this: God cares about every detail of your life. Your worries matter to Him, your prayers are heard, and even in difficult seasons, you are never beyond His love.

Let’s end this week by spreading kindness, sharing hope, and reminding one another of the goodness of God!

With love and prayers,
Wesleyville Baptist Church ❤️
