https://youtube.com/live/-KNRENyUnkk?feature=share In Luke 6 we see Jesus approach a life changing decision: the selection of a group of apostles that He will spend the majority of His remaining time on Earth pouring His teaching and efforts into. He also knew that these Apostles would be the ones responsible for sharing and spreading His good news after He was crucified.

How He prepared for this decision should be the model for how we prepare for our own important choices: an intentional and directed time of prayer with God. Luke 6: 12 tells us that Jesus went off to a mountain and "spent the whole night in prayer to God" before making His choice the next morning. While an entire night in prayer may seem intimidating, it certainly highlights the importance we should be placing on our time with the Lord.

This week we dive into Luke 5: 17-26 and the story of Jesus, the paralyzed man and his faithful friends. This is a record of a miraculous healing and an even more miraculous, if harder to prove claim; that Jesus had the power to immediately forgive the man's sins as well. Today all know of someone who could use God's healing, perhaps even we are the ones seeking after His relief. Pastor Andy has a great word this week on Forgiveness and Healing, check it out here!
