In the midst of their betrothal the angel Gabriel tells them that they will be blessed with a child, an amazing baby boy that will be the Son of the Most High! This is of course the birth of Jesus and His miraculous, extraordinary life, yet it is Mary's simple and humble faith that Pastor Andy focuses on this week.

There are many factors and doubts that must have been going through Mary's mind at this point, but she is remembered as blessed for her confidence in God's word. She's a great model for all of our faith to trust in our God despite worries and doubts. Take a listen to the message here!

This week, in Luke 1, we see the angel of the Lord returning to earth to ensure Mary knew what was about to happen through her. Hope to see you at 10 am!

This week we start off a study of the Gospel of Luke. The narrative begins with the birth of John the Baptist, and the quiet but faithful lives of John's parents Zacharias and Elizabeth. They are shown to have been faithful to God and careful to follow Him all their lives, yet even so they carried around a burden of being childless and unable to conceive due to their old age.

But we serve the God of miracles! The angel Gabriel is sent with a message that will radically change their lives: they are to have a child! But even past that, their child will be great in the sight of the Lord and will come with great power and faith to move many hearts to the Lord.

Zacharias shows doubt to Gabriel and is temporary rendered mute for that doubt, but ultimately the story is one of encouragement and hope to those of us that often feel unheard in our faith. Our Father does hear and love us, and has a greater plan for all of our lives if we chose to follow Him. Take a listen here to this week's sermon: "Mute Faith."
