La Salle Catholic School is hiring a Substitute Bus Driver. The Substitute Bus Driver will fill in for the regular bus driver when he is unable to complete his duties such as safely transport students to and from school, follow established routes and safety procedures and provide a friendly, professional experience for students. We’re looking for someone who is reliable and responsible, patient and comfortable working with children, safety-conscious and able to meet applicable driver and licensing requirements. Friendly Reminder: In the event that there is a funeral scheduled on the same day as the daily Mass, the daily Mass will be cancelled. Besides the limited availability of priests, there is the hope that weekday Mass participants would attend the funeral Mass as a show of spiritual support for the deceased and their family, as well as an opportunity to fulfill their weekday Mass devotion.

Sacristans Needed! We are seeking additional volunteers to serve as sacristans, with a special need at Holy Cross liturgies. Confirmation Families: There are Confirmation Student Meetings scheduled on Wednesday, September 9 at 6:30pm at Shannon Hall in St John the Baptist Church and Sunday, September 13 at 6:30pm at St. Joseph’s Church Hall, Farley. Students should come to one of the two meetings. This is an opportunity to turn in service projects or papers.

REMINDER: Seton Catholic All School Mass is Friday, September 11, at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist, Peosta. Daily Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 8, at 7:30 AM at St. John the Baptist, Peosta and Wednesday, September 9, at 7:30 AM at St. Joseph, Farley.

Women of Service gathering is Wednesday, September 9, starting at 10:00am in the St. Patrick Church hall. We will create Veteran appreciation gifts and prepare Tummy Time Mirrors for the Becky Drees Project. Information regarding Samaritan's Purse Christmas Child Boxes will be presented and made available in our Pastorate churches; collection of the boxes is November 15-18. Lunch can be ordered and delivered from the Pizza Factory. A special invitation is extended to women from the north end of the Peosta Area Pastorate. Please join us!
