St. Ann's Emmaus is accepting nonperishable food donations to be used by our Helping Hands ministry for Thanksgiving dinner boxes. Over 120 families in need within our local communities will receive a Thanksgiving dinner and pantry staples this year. Please drop off your nonperishable items in the green bins in our church lobbies. It was a frosty Saturday morning yesterday, but our KOC Garden of Mercy volunteers were able to harvest nearly 200 lbs. of vegetables that were donated to local food pantries for families in need. Thank you to our home gardeners who added in some extra vegetables from your gardens, too. St. Ann's Emmaus is keeping fresh produce on plates for as long as we can! Next week will be the last harvest of the year. Can you guess our total amount of produce donated? Hint: it's over 1 ton of veggies!

St. Ann's annual Mass of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 1pm. Names of departed loved ones will be read beginning at 12:45pm prior to Mass. Refreshments will be served in the school cafeteria after Mass. Please enroll the names of your departed loved ones by Nov. 1 on our parish website: www.churchstann.org

St. Ann's Emmaus is collecting nonperishable food for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Food boxes, including a Thanksgiving dinner, will be prepared for over 100 local families in need. It's a wonderful way to share our love of God and our neighbors. Nonperishable food items can be dropped off in our main lobby or the weekday chapel lobby in the large green bins. Food shopping this week? Add a few extra nonperishable items to be donated in your cart if you can. Thank you for your generosity. 🫶

Lord,
You never cease to call us to Yourself, bless the mission fields where we sow, tend, and reap. Give us your grace and strength as we share Your love with families and friends, strangers and sojourners. Give us the right words, the right inspirations, the right invitations, the right love. Fr. Keith reminds us that October is month of the Rosary and that Pope Leo XIV has asked for a special intention during Rosary prayers: "that wars may cease and that peace may be established among peoples in conflict." As we pray to the Blessed Mother during this Rosary month, Pope Leo tells us that Mary has always been a “safe refuge amid life’s difficulties,” and can be "a source of consolation for a world wounded by war."

St. Ann's annual Pet Blessing will be held this Saturday, Oct. 4 at noon on our parish lawn. All pets will receive a special blessing in honor of St. Francis of Assisi's feast day. Wings, paws, fins, claws--all pets are welcome. Please make sure all pets are leashed or in a pet carrier. 🐕🐦🐈🦎🐠
