A Prayer for LGBTQ+ Pride Month ~

We pause to center ourselves in the Truth of Being. We breathe in the awareness of the One Presence and One Power active in the universe and in our lives - God, the Source of All Good, Divine Love Itself. We acknowledge that this Divine Presence is not separate from us; It is the very breath of our breath, the heartbeat of our heart, and the unique light that shines within every individual.

Knowing that we are made in the image and likeness of the Divine, we declare and affirm:

I am a radiant expression of God’s love, perfectly designed and divinely whole. I step into the world with courage, authenticity, and joy, living out loud in love.

We celebrate the beautiful kaleidoscope of human identity and expression. We recognize that the LGBTQ+ community is a magnificent reflection of Divine Creativity. Every color of the Pride flag represents a unique facet of the Holy Spirit - life, healing, sunlight, nature, harmony, and spirit.

We release any old conditioning of shame, hiding, or fear. We cast out the illusion of separation. In this moment, we claim our inherent worth. We hold our heads high, knowing that to live authentically is the highest form of spiritual worship. We allow our light to shine brightly, unapologetically, and unconditionally.

As we live out loud, our love becomes a transformative force. It heals wounds, builds bridges, and dissolves walls of division. We see a world that is waking up to the truth of oneness, where everyone is safe to love and be loved, exactly as they are. We are anchored in the knowledge that Divine Love protects, guides, and prospers our paths.

With hearts full of joy, we give thanks for the pioneers who marched before us, for the community that sustains us, and for the freedom to express our true selves. We are deeply grateful for the love that unites us all.

And so, we let it be. Amen.

On this Memorial Day, we pause in sacred remembrance.
We honor those who gave their lives in service to others,
those who stepped into conflict, uncertainty, and sacrifice
with courage greater than fear.

We hold in the Light the visible and invisible wounds of war—
the grief carried by families, the burdens carried by veterans,
and the ache that still lives within the collective soul of humanity.

And even now, Holy Presence,
as our nation moves through a season of upheaval, division, and deep uncertainty,
we affirm that there is a deeper Reality than fear,
a deeper Truth than hatred,
a deeper Power than violence.

We remember that every person is created from the One Life,
born from the same sacred Source,
held within the same Infinite Love.

May this day become more than remembrance alone.
May it awaken us.

Awaken us to the cost of forgetting our shared humanity.
Awaken us to the sacred calling to become peacemakers, bridge-builders, and truth-tellers.
Awaken us to the Christ Presence within us that refuses to surrender to despair, cynicism, or vengeance.

Where there is fear, may we become a calming presence.
Where there is division, may we embody understanding.
Where there is injustice, may we stand grounded in courage and compassion.
Where hearts are weary, may we carry hope.

We bless this nation—not in triumphalism, but in humility.
Not with the illusion that we are without fault,
but with the willingness to grow, awaken, and heal.

May the memory of those who served call us into higher service.
May we become worthy stewards of freedom, justice, dignity, and peace for all people.

And may the Spirit of Divine Love move through this nation and this world
like a healing wind—
restoring wisdom where there is confusion,
compassion where there is cruelty,
and unity where there has been separation.

In the Silence of this holy moment,
we remember.
We bless.
We awaken.
And we dedicate ourselves anew to the work of love.

And so it is. Amen.

A Prayer for Mother’s Day ~

In the stillness of this sacred moment, I turn within…
and I remember. I remember that there is One Life, One Love, One Infinite Presence expressing everywhere, in everyone, as all.

This Presence is the nurturing essence of the Universe,
the Divine Mothering Love that births, sustains, and evolves all life.
It is gentle and fierce… tender and strong…
a Love that knows how to hold, to guide, to release, and to bless.

Today, I recognize this Divine Love as the very heart of motherhood
expressed in countless forms.

I honor the mothers who have given us life,
the mothers who have raised, guided, and shaped us,
the grandmothers, stepmothers, adoptive mothers, and spiritual mothers, the mentors, teachers, and friends who have embodied compassion, wisdom, and care.

I honor those who mother through presence, through prayer, through service, those who nurture ideas, communities, and dreams into being.

I hold in love those for whom this day carries tenderness or grief,
those who long to mother, those who have lost a mother or a child,
those whose relationships are complex or unfinished.

In the embrace of Divine Love, all are held.
Nothing is outside the circle of this Infinite Compassion.
And I recognize now that this same Mothering Presence lives as me.

It is the Love within me that knows how to care, how to listen, how to create space for growth and healing.

It is the wisdom within me that knows when to hold on
and when to gently let go.

It is the strength within me that protects, uplifts, and restores.

So today, I claim this Truth:
I am an expression of Divine Love in action.
I am a vessel of nurturing Presence.
I am a channel through which compassion flows freely and fully.

And as I embody this Love,
I bless the world.
I bless every mother, in every form.
I bless every heart that has given or received love.
I bless this beautiful web of connection that sustains us all.

In deep gratitude, I release this prayer into the living Law,
knowing it is already so.

And together we affirm:

And so it is. Amen.

Reflecting on our Core Value – Abundance ~

Through a Unity lens, abundance is not simply about material prosperity - it is the spiritual knowing that God is our unfailing source, and that divine substance is the very essence of life itself. Abundance is the Truth of our being. It is the recognition that we live, move, and have our being in an infinite and generous universe, where love, wisdom, ideas, and opportunities are ever-flowing and ever-renewing.

When we affirm abundance, we are shifting our consciousness from limitation to possibility, from fear to faith, from “not enough” to God is and God provides. This core value invites us to see with spiritual eyes and to participate joyfully in the Divine flow.

Inward-Facing: Living Abundance Within Our Community ~

At Unity of Lehigh Valley, our commitment to abundance begins in the way we see ourselves and one another. We practice abundance when we:
• Trust in divine ideas and Spirit’s guidance for our ministry
• Encourage creativity and spiritual gifts in each other
• Share our time, talents, and treasure with open hearts
• Celebrate progress rather than worry about challenges
• Support one another’s wellbeing - emotionally, spiritually, and practically
• Release a mindset of scarcity, knowing our Source is God, not circumstances

We embody abundance when our words uplift, our actions bless, and our attitudes reflect gratitude and faith. In this consciousness, we become a spiritual wellspring where all are nourished and empowered to thrive.

Outward-Facing: Serving as Channels of God’s Good ~

As an outward-facing community, abundance calls us to be generous contributors to the larger world. We practice abundance when we:
• Give joyfully to community service and outreach
• Serve in love, offering spiritual nourishment beyond our walls
• Partner with others, recognizing shared purpose and mutual blessing
• Seek ways to uplift our neighborhood and world through compassion, peace, and justice
• Model unity and kindness, trusting that when we give, we expand the good

Abundance in action means knowing there is enough love to share, enough hope to broadcast, enough compassion to ripple into every corner of the world. As we give, we receive. As we bless, we are blessed. As we shine our light, our light grows brighter.

Let us hold this sacred intention together ~

"As grateful channels for the free flow of God's good, there is always more than enough for us to be, to have, and to give."

May our hearts be open, our gratitude overflowing, and our faith steadfast. Together, we stand as a living testament to divine abundance - within our spiritual family and in sacred service to the world.

An Earth Day Prayer ~

I AM one with the Living Presence of God,
The Divine Intelligence expressing in and through all creation -
Divine Life breathing itself as earth, air, fire, water, and me.

“I live in harmony with nature, honoring the sacred balance of all life.” This is the living awareness of my being.

From this awakened knowing, I embody a deeper reverence for the Earth as holy ground.
I walk gently.
I see with spiritual clarity.
I act from Love.

Where there has been unconscious use,
I bring mindful stewardship.
Where there has been disconnection,
I remember my Oneness with all life.
Where there has been harm,
I am a presence of healing - beginning within my own consciousness.

I recognize the Earth as sacred and alive,
Whole in its essence and unfolding in Divine Order.

I align my thoughts, my choices, and my actions
With the harmony that is already established in Truth.

I move forward as a conscious co-creator -
Honoring the sacred balance of all life,
Living in gratitude,
Serving as a vessel of restoration and peace.

In the awareness of One Life, One Love, One Presence,
I give thanks.

And so, it is. Amen.

Sunday Service - Rev Ron Karstetter - April 12, 2026

04/08/2026

In this time of violence and chaos, we feel a deep call to return to peace; not as something distant or ideal, but as something we each choose every day.

Let us collectively focus our intentions, prayers, and energies toward peace. Let us pray for our world and community leaders that they are guided by wisdom, compassion, and a deep commitment to the well-being of all people.

Peace is not passive. It asks something of each of us. It calls us to be steady, to be brave, and to keep showing up with open hearts even when it feels like our efforts won’t make a difference.

We have a responsibility to be vessels of peace each day.
Peace in our hearts.
Peace in our homes.
Peace across communities and nations.

Unity calls on each of us individually, within our spiritual communities, and among our political leaders to be grounded and guided by actions that cultivate peace in our thoughts, words, and deeds.

May we be courageous in our peace. May we live it, speak it, and extend it one moment at a time.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” — Matthew 5:9
