We are the official student organization for Catholic Campus Ministry at Elon University!

Elon Catholic Campus Ministry is a place for community, prayer, service, leadership, and fun. We welcome all students to join Elon CCM in any or all of our activities! Mass Schedule:

When in Italy, you don’t just eat the pasta you make it. 🍝✨🇮🇹
Angela DeFlorio ’28 shares one of her favorite memories from the Elon CCM pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi Italy.
“The food was amazing! It’s always such a good experience to go to a new country and immerse yourself in the culture. I really liked the pasta-making class, and I actually learned a few tips and tricks from Chef Alberto that I took home and used to make my own pasta. Of course, I really loved the gelato, and I had a ton of fun trying new dishes I never would have gotten to try otherwise.
I also thought it was really interesting that during the times when I was most at peace on the trip, I always saw an animal of some sort. I think it was a good reminder not only of St. Francis’ love for animals, but also of how God shows He’s there in the little ways.”
From making fresh pasta to finding moments of peace and faith along the journey, Italy was full of unforgettable experiences. ❤️🙏

When in Rome…!

.petercft and the Elon CCM crew are currently in Rome for the Italy pilgrimage! They’ve already seen the Basilica of Saint John Lateran, Trevi Fountain, and the Colosseum. Today was a visit to the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and Saint Peter’s Basilica. Soon, they’ll be off to Assisi to celebrate the Franciscan Jubilee Year! Please keep everyone in your prayers.

Liam McGarry shares that, when thinking about CCM, his mind immediately goes to memories of the friends he’s made through CCM and good times they shared. “There is something rare about a community that welcomes you without conditions, where you do not have to prove your place or perform a version of yourself to fit in, but rather understand the real you and what a healthy life with Christ and community looks like.” His favorite memories are from when he was a Servant Leader during his junior into senior year and when he was co-director of the Awakening Retreat.

Grace Stetler shares that CCM provided her with stability and a community in which she found a true sense of belonging. She grew not only in her faith, but as a young women in confidence. Grace says, “CCM is a community deeply grounded in faith and love, and it has had a lasting impact on my college experience.” Her favorite memories over the past four years were being able to serve as an Engagement Intern for two years and attending retreats, and she has found it so meaningful to see students she met during her time as an intern now entering into larger roles in the CCM community!

On Friday night students from across Elon’s campus gathered for CCM’s first ever Formal!! As the sunsets on another academic year, we celebrated by dancing, playing co****le, and gathering around a campfire !! And OF COURSE we all church clapped!

Liam Dupas is thankful for the community of CCM through which he’s fostered lifelong friendships, created lasting memories, and found others who are loving and supportive. “The heart of CCM is found in every person who reflects the light of Christ so uniquely. My four years here would not be the same without the support of the community. I am also grateful for Father Peter. He truly has been a father to me and all of the students.” Liam says that his favorite memory during his time in CCM will always be the service trips to Jamaica with Mustard Seed Communities, where he encountered Jesus in a new way through the residents he served at Blessed Assurance.

Erin Hroncich expresses how CCM has given her a community of friends and staff relationships who are always welcoming, a way to grow in faith during the busy college years, and amazing food and snacks. “From game nights to confession, CCM has always offered exactly what I needed before I knew I needed it myself!” She shares that her favorite memory comes from her first Beach Retreat during her first-year at Elon, offering a time away from campus to become nourished, finding her closest friend on campus, and experiencing Adoration in a whole new way.

Last night we celebrated our last Mass on Grass and Sunday Supper of the year! People gathered around tables for a Summer Sendoff BBQ with burger and hotdogs galore :)

Emme Birchmeier talks about her experience as a First-Year student actively engaged in CCM events and a participant of our First-Year small group. She shares the struggles and joys of coming to campus and navigating her faith journey. Emme also shared her favorite moments of small group and being a part of a welcoming family-like community, finding her best friends within the walls of the CCM house on Wednesdays. Stating that even in moments when life and school become hectic, she knows the CCM community is always there to lift her up.
