The church office will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, the day when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, learned of their freedom—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. Today, Juneteenth is recognized as a federal holiday celebrating freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

The office will reopen on Monday, June 22.

Beginning July 5, Bethany will move to its summer worship schedule with one hybrid service at 10 AM.

This is a wonderful opportunity for those who typically attend the contemporary or traditional service to worship together, connect, and get to know one another better.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the cost of freedom and the enduring power of courage, love, and selflessness.

As we gather with family and friends, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude and lift up in prayer the families who continue to carry the weight of that sacrifice each day.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

Today, we remember. Today, we honor.

What a beautiful evening of creativity, connection, and joy! 🎨✨

Our Women’s Fellowship Paint Night was a wonderful success, filled with laughter, encouragement, snacks, conversation, and some truly lovely watercolor creations. Whether experienced painters or first-timers, everyone brought their own unique touch to the evening — and the results were as beautiful as the fellowship.

Thank you to everyone who came, helped, encouraged, and made the night so special. We are grateful for these opportunities to gather, create, and grow in community together.

No pressure. No perfection. Just presence — and it was a joy. 💛

Thanks to everyone who generously donated small appliances and household goods to At Jacob’s Well! AJW staff came on April 18 to pick up not only those donations, but also the furniture we had been collecting. Your kindness and willingness to help make a meaningful difference for individuals and families in need within our community.

As we move into the summer months, please continue to look for opportunities to support At Jacob’s Well and our other mission partners through donations, volunteering, and prayer. Together, we are helping extend God’s love in tangible ways.
