James 1:21

How the Scripture should be received.

1.) Let them dwell in you richly - Colossians 3:16
In other words, let them be alive and effective in our lives.

2.) Search and study them daily - Acts 17:11
Daily reading and studying God’s Word is an excellent habit to form.

3.) Hide them in our hearts - Psalm 119:11
They provide a “reserve power” that can help us combat sin and temptation. When we hide the Scriptures in our hearts, God will bring them into our remembrance in time of need.

4.) Delight in God’s Word - Psalm 1:2
Enjoy His Word and His presence

5.) Teach them to our children - Deuteronomy 11:19
This means not just in church or Sunday school but in our homes as well

Today, we honor and remember Lola Pastora Emeteria Gadia Somera.

A faithful servant of God whose life reflected unwavering love, humility, and devotion to the Lord. Through her years of loyal service in the ministry, she built a legacy of faith, kindness, prayer, and compassion that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Her life was a testimony of God’s grace — faithfully serving, encouraging others, and pointing people toward Christ. Though she will be deeply missed, the impact she made through her love for God and His people will never be forgotten.

As we inform relatives, friends, and our ministry family, we ask everyone to continue lifting the family in prayer during this difficult time. May we honor her memory by carrying forward the faith and legacy she so beautifully lived out.
