Yesterday was Charlie Kirk’s 32nd birthday, and President Trump awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom to celebrate. If Charlie was here to give his speech, this is what he might say… “Month One in Heaven: it’s beyond what anyone on earth could paint with words. The colors are brighter, the love is deeper, the peace is more perfect than anything I ever knew. Every moment here is soaked in worship—no distraction, no fear, nothing but the presence of Jesus. I can see now that all the struggles, every debate, every late night, every struggle, even my death—Jesus turned all of it into something beautiful. Heaven is real. It’s more glorious than I hoped, more tender than I imagined.
Living your life for God? It is worth it beyond measure. Earthly applause is fleeting. But this—this embrace, this welcome into forever—is so much greater. I see now how the smallest choices mattered: choosing integrity, speaking truth, loving Erika and my kids, loving the lost, standing up when it’s hard. Those were my seeds planted. I understand that every moment I offered Him, every scar I bore, every sacrifice I made—it was never wasted. Even here, each of those moments shines like gold under His glorious light.
If you are reading this now, wondering if it’s too late, wondering if your life matters, let me tell you: the best decision I ever made was to believe in Jesus—because He is the only way, the truth, the life. John 14:6 still echoes through Heaven’s streets: “I am the way, the truth, the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Accept Him. Trust Him. The cross changes everything. And one day, if you believe, you’ll wake up where there is no more pain, no more sorrow—just Him, forever.
If you’ve never prayed to invite Jesus into your life, pray with me... Dear Jesus, come into my life. Forgive me of my sins. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and your love. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for making me a part of your family. In Jesus’ name I pray… Amen!”
