Sometimes it feels impossible to escape the constant highlight reel of others' glamorous vacations, pregnancy announcements, marriage milestones, job promotions, publishing deals … the list goes on.

We may begin to feel like we don’t measure up or wonder if God's plans for us are ever going to come to fruition. Oh, friend, it becomes easy to lose sight of who God created us to be when we are constantly comparing ourselves to everyone else.

So, in case you need a reminder … You are God’s beautiful creation, made with a unique purpose in mind. Ephesians 2:10 declares, “We are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago” (NLT).

When we find ourselves struggling with comparison, we can choose to rest in this truth, knowing that God loves us and is working in our lives!
