This week, we're talking about s*x. Parents, if you haven't had this conversation with your student yet, we encourage you to have that before sending them this week (or keep them home, but we prefer option number one!). We think this is a super important topic that students hear from a biblical perspective, and we're here to help parents facilitate that! If you don't know where to start, check out our friends over at Axis (axis.org) and their awesome parent guides. You don't have to have all of the answers, just an openness to conversation and honesty.

Our dating series, No Regrets, kicks off THIS week- May 3rd! Students, we hope to see you as we talk about how to date with integrity, how to prepare our hearts for dating, and how God still works even when we have regrets.

Parents- this series will cover sensitive topics in weeks 3 and 4. We encourage you to have these conversations with your students beforehand to prepare them. It's so easy to find all sorts of information about dating, marriage, relationships, and everything that goes along with those topics, but we want to work together to make sure students are hearing about it from a faith-based perspective. If you're not sure where to start, we highly recommend checking out some Parent Guides from our friends over at Axis.org!

Days 2-3 looked like workshops, one of our own competing in the Next Gen Minister Search, worship dance parties, and seeing how many people we could fit on a staircase.

In our final session, we had 2 students accept Jesus as their Savior, 2 decide to rededicate their lives, and 2 acknowledge the call to ministry on their lives. What an amazing weekend at for our group. Miss out this year? Mark your calendars for February 12-14, 2027 for CCYC 2027!

Day 1 is in the books 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Last night, our speaker Tyler McKenzie set the tone by challenging us to think of the labels that have been placed on us by others and to replace them with the labels that God gives us. As our Maker and Creator, God gets to decide our name and our label, we just need to listen.

After great worship, an awesome message, and encouraging group time last night, we’ve rested up and are ready for Day 2!
