The ministry of The Way is founded in Christianity but dedicated to the expansion of consciousness and spirituality and the actual application of what Jesus taught about the laws of the universe and the indwelling Holy Spirit. As we enter Pride Month, we celebrate the beauty, dignity, and sacred worth of every person created in the image of God.

At The Way Columbia, we believe that God's love is expansive, grace is abundant, and there is room at the table for everyone. Pride Month is an opportunity to honor the journeys, contributions, resilience, and faith of LGBTQ+ individuals while reaffirming our commitment to being a community where people can worship, grow, heal, and belong without fear.

We recognize that for many, the path has not always been easy. This month, we celebrate progress, acknowledge ongoing challenges, and continue the work of creating spaces where love, justice, compassion, and authenticity can flourish.

As we gather with family, rest from labor, and reflect on the blessings of life, let us also pray for the families who carry the weight of loss and remembrance today.

Today, we honor the many expressions of motherhood with love, tenderness, and gratitude. 💐

To the mothers who nurture, sacrifice, pray, encourage, and carry their families through every season , we celebrate you.

To those whose children are no longer physically here, we honor your motherhood and hold space for your grief and enduring love.

To those missing their mothers today, may the memories, lessons, and love they poured into you continue to surround your heart.

And to the grandmothers, aunties, godmothers, mentors, spiritual mothers, foster mothers, and women who stepped in when they did not have to, thank you for becoming safe places, guiding lights, and vessels of compassion.

At The Way Columbia, we recognize that Mother’s Day can hold both joy and sorrow at the same time. Wherever this day finds you, we pray you encounter comfort, peace, healing, and love.
