A quick snapshot of our combined worship service at McCausland United Methodist Church . Afterwards we enjoy food and fellowship in the gathering hall, with pulled pork done up by Pastor Jim. During the service, we also witnessed the emergence of a new monarch butterfly from its chrysalis.

Our thanks to McCausland United Methodist Church for sharing their space with us today, last minute, due to weather issues. We also appreciate and thank the Ukuladies for providing us with musical accompaniment today. We had a wonderful joint-service with praise and music, and we heard Pastor Jim's message about the final step in reaching the summit and completing our journey to finally rest with Christ, in God's eternal glory. We also had a wonderful meal sharing food and fellowship afterwards.

We are saddened to share that our friend and church family member, Tim Reickard, passed away earlier this week. Tim was a long-time church member and sang in our choir along with his wife Linda, who also played the piano.

Eldridge United Methodist Church will be hosting the memorial service and visitation for Tim, on Saturday, August 8, with the visitation starting at 9:30AM & the memorial service starting at 11AM.
