Sacred Heart began in 1910 with a small frame church and continues the Catholic faith tradition in Eldon, Missouri, as part of the Diocese of Jefferson City.

Weekend Masses: Saturday 4PM & Sunday 10AM
Reconciliation: Saturday 3:30PM or by appointment
Weekday Masses: Tuesday & Friday 8AM
First Friday Adoration begins after Weekday Mass The Parish Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 2:30pm.

A little behind-the-scenes look at some recent improvements to our PSR classrooms!

Creating a safe and welcoming environment for our children, catechists, and volunteers is something our entire parish community plays a part in!

A huge thank-you to the wonderful parishioners who generously gave their time and talents to prepare, modify, and install our newly updated classroom doors! These added windows are a simple but meaningful improvement as we continue making our classrooms safe, comfortable spaces for everyone to learn and grow in faith.

We are so grateful for everyone who helped make this possible!

Vote YES on Amendment 3

The Catholic Church teaches that every human life is sacred and possesses inherent dignity from conception until natural death. Every person is created in the image and likeness of God and deserves to be treated with love, compassion, and respect.

The Church also calls us to support mothers, children, and families, especially those facing difficult circumstances, and to work toward a society that protects and cares for the most vulnerable.

NCYC BBQ Meal Pickup Reminder!

If you ordered a meal through our NCYC BBQ Fundraiser, your meal will be ready for pickup TODAY at 5:00 PM at Sacred Heart Church in Eldon, following the 4:00 PM Mass!

Whether you ordered pork steak, bratwurst, or hot dogs, be sure to stop by and pick up your meal!

Fields of Faith is STILL ON! Rain or shine! ☔
With rain in the forecast for tomorrow, Fields of Faith is moving indoors, but the fun is still happening!

We'll still meet at 6 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Center for our taco bar and games! 🌮

Around 6:40 PM, we'll head over to the Eldon High School gym, where Fields of Faith will now take place.

Since we won't be taking the hayride this year, please make sure you have a ride or a carpool buddy to get from the Catholic Center to the high school gym!

We're excited for a great evening of food, fellowship, and faith! Don't let a little rain keep you away. We hope to see you tomorrow night!

We’re excited to share a little peek at our new Little Saints Atrium!

This Montessori-inspired space gives our youngest Catholics a place to explore their faith through hands-on activities, prayer, and play!

This Sunday, we’ll be putting it to good use during our first Parent & Teacher Bible Study! Following the 10 AM Mass, adults will gather for Bible study while our teen prayer buddies help the little ones explore the Atrium. A simple lunch will be provided for those joining us!

A lot of love and hard work have gone into this little space, and we’re excited to see it come to life! Curious about the Atrium? Feel free to reach out. We’d love to show you around sometime!

This Friday is First Friday, and we invite you to spend a quiet hour with Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration.

We are still looking for adorers to cover two hours:
1:00–2:00 PM
4:00–5:00 PM

Come sit with the Lord, bring Him your prayers, and simply rest in His presence. If you are able to commit to one of these hours, please let us know!

Have you ever wanted to go deeper in your faith, but weren’t quite sure where to start?

That’s what Cursillo is about. The weekend gives you time away from the busyness of everyday life to pray, learn, celebrate Mass, have real conversations about faith, and grow closer to Christ alongside other Catholics.

But Cursillo isn’t meant to end when the weekend ends. One of the greatest parts is the community that comes afterward—people who continue to encourage one another, pray together, grow together, and help each other live the faith in everyday life. It’s not just a retreat weekend; it’s meant to strengthen you for the journey that follows.

And this fall, you don’t even have to travel! Both weekends will be held right here at Sacred Heart in Eldon.

Men: October 8–11
Women: October 22–25

A sponsor is required, but please don’t let that stop you if you’re interested and don’t have one. Reach out to the parish office and we’ll help you get connected.
