There is powerful worldview divide among those who claim to know and serve Jesus Christ and it deserves our attention.
Jude (half-brother of Jesus and leader in the early church) wrote a brief letter in which he challenged believers to contend for “the faith once for all delivered to the saints.”
This call to faithfulness has been necessary in every generation of believers from that time and into today.
Today’s episode of Dr Mohler’s “The Briefing” paints a portrait of theological compromise that should have our attention.
Although Mohler is talking about a political senate race, the issues rise beyond politics and are (at their core) deep theological issues of utmost concern.
*These are issues and arguments that every Bible-believing, gospel-loving Christian encounters regularly. We need to be aware of them, recognize them, and speak truth in contradiction to them.
I hope this episode of “The Briefing” can clarify the worldview issues that are at stake and bring to light the deep error of those who intentionally malign the Word of God to promote ideas that are contrary to God’s good intention.
“[Theological] liberalism on the one hand, and the religion of the historic church on the other, are not two varieties of the same religion, but two distinct religions proceeding from altogether separate roots."
-J. Gresham Machen (1923)
