Ultimately, only our Lord has the right to define what our love for Him requires. He went to the cross and fulfilled those requirements for us so that when we fail, we'll be forgiven. Sometimes we assume that if we don't like someone, then neither does God. Never forget that the One who extends mercy and a million chances to us does the same for those we don't see eye to eye. Loving others means acknowledging that our compassionate God is their compassionate God too.
