Elm Street church of Christ

Elm Street church of Christ Bible-based Christians in El Reno, Oklahoma striving to restore New Testament Christianity. A faithful church of Christ in El Reno, OK. The Elm St.

Visit the Elm Street church of Christ for worship, Bible study, and sound teaching. church of Christ believes that the Bible is the only source of authority in Christianity, as it was written by God Himself (II Timothy 3:16). The Bible tells us that God has placed boundaries which the church must abide by if we hope to have fellowship with Him. Therefore, we always make sure that we are “abiding i

n the doctrine of Christ” (II John 9). The Elm Street church of Christ only participates in activities that you can find within the scriptures. The church in the first century was led “into all truth” by the Holy Spirit (John 16:13). Since God made it a point to write down what the early church practiced and preached, we believe that it is imperative to only practice and preach those things. If you were to visit the Elm Street church of Christ on the Lord’s Day, you would find that we participate in congregational singing (Ephesians 5:19), praying (I Corinthians 14:15), partaking of the Lord’s Supper (Acts 20:7), giving as we have prospered (I Corinthians 16:1-2), and gospel preaching (Acts 20:7). If you would decide to visit with us, we would certainly encourage you to open up your Bible and follow along with the lesson, so that you can see for yourself the things we teach and preach are true. Are you interested in attending with a church that will provide you with all types of fun, frolic, and entertainment? Then the Elm Street church of Christ is not for you.
