Cielo Vista Church was founded in 1954 by Dr. John R. Morgan and his wife Audrey, who answered God's call with faith. Starting with a small group, their dedication to service and commitment to God helped the church grow from a handful of neighbors to a thriving community of thousands. This 70 year legacy will continue to inspire and bless future generations to come. TODAY'S VISION

This past Sunday, Pastor Charlie shared a message from Amos. We were reminded that spiritual comfort can lead to complacency when we focus on God’s blessings rather than seeking Him. Through the book of Amos, we were challenged to examine our hearts, live out our faith, and respond to God’s Word with obedience. The good news is that God calls us back to Him, offering restoration and renewed life through Jesus Christ.

Join us this Sunday as Pastor Seth takes us through the book of Obadiah.

This past Sunday, Pastor Larry shared a powerful message from Hosea reminding us of God’s call: “Return to Me.” Even when we wander, turn toward idols, or try to find security in things other than God, He continues to pursue us with love and grace. Hosea reminds us that repentance means turning away from sin and turning back to God, trusting Him to forgive, heal, and restore us. No matter how far we have wandered, God’s invitation remains the same: Return to Me.

This Sunday, Pastor Larry will share a message from the book of Joel. We will be reminded that it’s easy for us to drift from God as we choose our own way, but God lovingly calls us back to Him. Discovering that repentance opens the door to God’s mercy, forgiveness, and restoration.

Community Night is our once a month gathering where we come together for a light dinner, meaningful worship, then step into focused group studies for kids, students, college age ministry and men’s and women’s groups.

CVC Makes Heaven Crowded

We saw God move in hearts, restore hope, and change lives. Heaven became more crowded with new faces turning to Jesus Christ.

This past Sunday, Pastor Will Perez concluded our “Setting the Church in Order” series with a message from Titus 3:9–15. He reminded us that the church is not a building, but God’s people, and that the Gospel is meant to transform the way we live and serve others. Pastor Will then challenged and encouraged us to live out our faith through humility, service, unity, generosity, and love. Reminding us that a healthy and fruitful church is made up of people whose lives reflect the grace of God and who are willing to go out and be the church wherever God has placed them.

This Sunday, Pastor Larry will begin a new study through the Twelve Minor Prophets with a message titled “Return to Me.” He will remind us that these books may be shorter, but their message is powerful and relevant: God calls His people to turn from sin, reject empty religion, and return to Him.

Last Sunday, Pastor Luis continued our Titus series by reminding us that God’s grace doesn’t just save us—it gives us a new life. That new life should be reflected in the way we live. Salvation is not something we earn through our good works. It is a gift of God’s kindness, mercy, and love. Because of this grace, we are called to live differently by honoring authorities, treating others with humility and gentleness, and devoting ourselves to doing good. Our salvation is completely God’s work, and all glory belongs to Him.

This Sunday, we will have guest speaker Lucas Miles sharing a message from 1 Timothy 1:3–11 and 2 Timothy 2:1–13 about the importance of staying grounded in biblical truth and remaining faithful to Christ. He will encourage us to avoid false teaching and empty arguments, allowing our faith to produce genuine love, purity, and obedience.

We know life gets busy, so we want to help you make room for the things that matter most, including community, discipleship, growing in your faith, discipleship, and maybe even getting some much needed rest.

So instead of meeting every Wednesday, Community Night will happen on the first day of every month.

Here’s what our night will look like 👇

Doors open at 5:45pm for a light dinner and fellowship. At 6:30, we’ll worship together then breakout for group studies for kids, students, college age, and men’s and women’s groups - in both, English and Spanish.

Come ready to connect and grow! We can’t wait to see you there!
