BEGININGS
Cielo Vista Church was founded in 1954 by Dr. John R. Morgan and his wife Audrey, who answered God's call with faith. Starting with a small group, their dedication to service and commitment to God helped the church grow from a handful of neighbors to a thriving community of thousands. This 70 year legacy will continue to inspire and bless future generations to come. TODAY'S VISION
Today,

we are driven to invite the lost and broken into our Christ-centered journey from empty religion to generational life change. We also hold deeply to these core values (1) Biblical truth alive in love (2) the power of prayer, (3) life-changing generosity, (4) unity in diversity, and (5) responding in obedience even before feeling ready. This past Sunday, Pastor Luis reminded us that spiritual growth begins with a genuine desire for God and is cultivated through consistent time in His Word and prayer. Using the example of David’s thirst for God in Psalm 63, Pastor Luis challenged us to prioritize intimacy with God, remove distractions that hinder our growth, and continually pursue a deeper relationship with Christ so that we may become more like Him.

This Sunday, Pastor Will Perez will teach us that faithfulness is the steady, reliable commitment to God that turns faith into a lifelong way of living.

Pastor Luis continued our series, by reminding us that following God often requires embracing change, adapting to unexpected circumstances, and trusting His plans over our own. Through the example of Joseph, we saw how a heart marked by humility, obedience, and faith allows God to accomplish His greater purposes in and through us.

This Sunday, Pastor Luis will continue our series, Attitudes for Godly Development, with a message titled A Desire to Grow. Together, we will explore how spiritual growth begins with a genuine hunger for God and why intentional time in His Word and prayer is essential for becoming more like Christ. Through examples from Scripture, we will be challenged to deepen our relationship with God, pursue His presence consistently, and cultivate a desire that leads to lasting spiritual maturity.

Join us as we discover what it means to keep growing in our faith and never stop seeking Him.

This past Sunday, Pastor Larry reminded us that suffering is not meaningless, it is often one of God’s greatest tools for developing our faith. When we trust Him through trials instead of resisting them, He uses those difficult seasons to strengthen our character, deepen our dependence on Him, and shape us into the image of Christ. The pain may be temporary, but God’s purpose in it can have eternal value.

This Sunday, Pastor Luis will continue our series, Attitudes for Godly Development, with a message on Flexibility. Through the example of Joseph and other faithful servants of God, we will learn how flexibility is an attitude of faith, humility, and obedience that enables us to embrace change, adapt to God’s direction, and trust His greater purposes even when life doesn’t go according to our plans.

Suffering is not pointless when God uses it to teach you, shape you, and draw you closer to Him. It is a valuable and often essential part of growing deeper in our understanding of God's goodness.

We may not always understand why we suffer, but God creates something beautiful from it everytime.
