St. Francis on the Hill Episcopal Church

St. Francis on the Hill Episcopal Church A welcoming community. | Una comunidad acogedora. Welcome to St. Francis on the Hill! At St. Francis we value welcoming and including everyone.

We believe that there are no barriers to God’s love - regardless of race, sexuality, ability, socio-economic status, ethnicity, or gender, you are welcome to find a home here. We are LGBTQ inclusive! The sacraments are open and available to all. We celebrate the Eucharist every Sunday, and keep the seasons and feasts of the church. We hope you’ll find our worship style reverential and inspiring. R

esponding to the Spirit, we minister to our local community, our online community, and tend to the needs known to us. We pray to be effective ministers particularly to those seeking refuge and asylum, those in need of comfort, and those seeking a community of like-minded followers interested in pursuing a deeper understanding of their own faith. We offer faith formation for individuals and families, and we are actively building small groups for ongoing formation and community. We’d love to have you join us! We are a member of The Episcopal Church and the Diocese of the Rio Grande. For more information, please see below:

Backpack tags are here! Join us this Sunday, August 2nd at the 10:30 service for the Blessing of the Backpacks. Children (and adults!) are invited to receive a blessing and a backpack tag as they prepare for a new school year (or other new exciting adventures.) Thank you to our tireless volunteers who helped laminate all our tags!

Held by God from the very beginning.

“Yet you are he who took me out of the womb… Be not far from me, for trouble is near.” — Psalm 22

May these words remind us that God’s presence has been with us from our first breath and remains with us today.

Children’s Chapel takes place in Myrick Hall during the 10:30 service. Children can attend with or without their parents; all children rejoin their families in the sanctuary during the passing of the peace. We look forward to welcoming you!

🕊️ Bishop C. Andrew Doyle shares a pastoral message following the death of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo.
