Last night was incredible as we faced the giants in ME - loneliness, anxiety, comparison, etc. These kids played hard and their worship was inspiring. TONIGHT IS THE LAST NIGHT OF LOL KIDS! Don’t miss out! We will be talking about the GIANT called Discouragement.

Parents, as you sit down for dinner, take a second to talk about what our purpose is.

Just like John the Baptist's purpose was to tell others about Jesus' arrival, as believers our purpose is to share the love of Jesus with others too. In addition to that, God has given each of us a specific purpose.

As a family, grab some pens and paper and encourage each family member to pray and ask God what their purpose is. Write the answers down and share with the family.

Here's some ideas to get the conversation started:
- What gifts or abilities has God given you that you can use to serve others?
- How can you show God's love to someone who needs it?
- Think of some fun and creative ways you can serve your local church.

We want to be a part of your family discussion! Share your thoughts, conversations, and practical ways to walk in God's' purpose for your life.

In Kids Church, kids will discover how John the Baptist had a very important role to play in Jesus' mission. John was sent to prepare the way and point to Jesus as the coming Savior. Kids will learn that all of us have a role in Jesus' mission, because God has a specific purpose for every person He creates.

The gift of the Holy Spirit was sent so that we might have power—power to go and make disciples. Some go to the farthest corners of the globe. Some only cross the street in front of their house. Still, God’s people always go. They go to work, school, grocery stores, kids’ soccer games, and family reunions. And wherever they go, they take their witness of Jesus with them. True believers live going and carrying out His mission.
